Photos from the flood in Lagos today

There's been heavy downpour in Lagos for two days now and some streets are flooded to the extent that some residents have resorted to using boats to move round as seen in the pic above..lol. More photos after the cut...

  18. But why is the drainage not properly done to prevent such from flooding from occurring. Upon all they say BRF has done to fix lagos this should have been apart of it. I mean all these flooding are damaging to property and businesses.

  38. The problem is that most street in lagos don't have good drainage, and the ones that have are blocked with waste like nylon plastic etc, the governor mr Ambode should pls do something about it and clear the gutters biko!!!

  41. When is lagos going to tax people and use the money to start drainage system where water goes to treatment and then lagoon. Lagos is surrounded by water so we can have drainage system into the surrounding water after treatment. Every yr same old flooding.

  48. Island resident can now order for a custom made speedboat or ship(if ur family is too large for a boat) via jumia or konga. There are nice houses in Maryland and magodo but u carry ursef go island lol
