Fashion & stylist entrepreneur Ivy Ekong launches Jewellery line

Ivy Ekong is a fashion consultant & stylist, fashion designer, entrepreneur, and blogger. The business woman (popularly known as Ivy Ekong) has a lot more to offer than meets the eye. She is known to be self driven and intelligent. At age 3, Ivy would pick up her favourite Baby Doll and repeatedly pamper her with her mum’s Make Up. Sometimes the lip stick was too generously applied that it was comic relief for the whole family. But to Ivy, the makeover artiste, this was an early start to a passionate future in the Fashion industry -though only known to her!

Ivy Ekong understands the need and importance of being educated as a tool for women empowerment. Ivy attended Ambrose Alli University in Edo State Nigeria, and graduated with two degrees. She has a degree in Buiness Management and a Bachelor's Degree in Economics respectively. Fashion and design has always been a passion of Ivy which lead her to work as a fashion and beauty model for so many years in her University days.

She also contested in a beauty pageant in her state and was crowned the ''Face Of Esan'' in Edo State. Ivy's versertility grew when she took a job with Zenith Bank were she worked for 2 years after which she resigned to pursue her true passion. She trained in Personal styling and Image consultancy through the well-known ‘Colour Me Beautiful’ academy located in the world’s fashion capital; London, United Kingdom. After which she launched her Fashion Styling and Image Consultancy Company in London and Nigeria respectively called IconMode in 2011.

Ivy expanded her enterpreneurial ability by creating her own line of hair extensions (IconMode Hair), and her own line of luxury statement jewellery ,IconMode Jewellery By Ivy. Ivy's new adventure will be to lunch a ready to wear clothing line starting with fashionable t-shirts for women of all ages which she is still working on. As a fashionista and a lover of everything fashion,Style, and healthy lifestyle, Ivy shares her personal fashions and lifestyle with the world and her clients via her blog , www.blog.icon- mode.com.

Ivy who currently lives in London with her family is also a wife and a mother to two beautiful girls. She is a true example to women that you can have it all.

We have named our jewellery after celebrities who are known ''Fashion Icons’’. This is because our statement jewellery is not designed for every woman but only  those who truly have the confidence to be seen, noticed and distinctive amongst the crowd. Women who are not afraid to show their true sense of style. Our pieces are unique and carefully made with all its detailing.  We want you to feel like an ''Icon'' while wearing our Costumes Jewellery.
