Photos from the fight at Conoil Filling station in Ketu this morning

One of the staff of Conoil filling station opposite Apostolic church in Ketu, Lagos and a customer fought each other this morning. According to eyewitnesses, the fuel attendant, while trying to chase people away from the filling station, attacked this particular customer with a big gallon, and left him with a gash on his face. Others around had to take him to a corner to attend to his wounds as he was said to be bleeding from his nose and mouth. What fuel scarcity is causing in Nigeria...

  5. All because of fuel scarcity, can't wait for May 29th to be here.
The one who retains the capacity to hire and sack, has refused to say anything about this lingering fuel scarcity.

  15. I don't know if conoil filling stations are cursed or what last week Saturday my husband went to queue up in their filling station in kado in abuja, after 4 hours of being on the queue, because they were selling more to people with jerry cans and collecting extra money from them, some naval police officers came with AEPB (abuja environmental protection board) to chase away black marketers who were around the filling station in the process of ceasing gallons of fuel one gallon of fuel broke. The black marketers started fighting the naval police who fired shots from their gun to disperse the black marketers in the process the spilled fuel from the gallon started a fire which ended up burning my husbands car very badly, and another bullet killed a girl selling recharge cards close by. Of course as soon as all this happened the naval police and the AEPB workers disappeared, the fuel attendants also stopped selling fuel and ran away.

  36. Too bad for our nation. I went to one man village in Nasarawa yesterday to buy fuel @110 per litre but their meter is as good as N150. I am now asking is that the CHANGE Nigeria is expecting coming May 29? AEDC said they are being allocated below 200MW from initial 450MW. Is that the CHANGE we need?
