    8. How did this turn to an ethnic debate??? If you didn't notice there are other tribes on that list.... I am beginning to think you igbo's are either very tribalistic or there is some issue with self esteem... stop causing conflict where there is none

It's amazing how in your previous post about these guys yesterday, people were falling over themselves with comments telling us that these guys are British.

Meanwhile, take a typical Emeka Okoye (made up name) born and bred in Lagos and speaks fluent Yoruba. Same people who are saying Chuka Umunna is British will tell Emeka Okoye to "go back to Onitsha".

  85. That's not the point. With their last names and heritage they would be taken as foriegners if they tried to run for elective positions eg in a state such as Lagos where some Igbos have lived all their lives and even speak more Yoruba than Igbo. That is tribalism at it's core. Over their in Britain and the USA your heritage and name does not matter. All that matters is that you are a Briton or American who can add value and that you are a law abiding citizen that pats tax.

  107. The United Kingdom Elections have come and gone, no ballot box snatching, no mass thumb-printing of ballot papers at the residence of A, B & C, nobody was killed, maimed or kidnapped. I did not see party posters defacing streets. No woman leader! No 60 year old as a youth leader! No hired crowds with drumming and insulting the opponents. Campaign was issue based, and of course no one used 'Presidential Jets/Private Jets' to move from one place to the other, no 'First Lady' threatening fire and brimstone. Pray! If only my beloved country can copy this type of electioneering process and not the "do or die" attitude.
