PDP Governors led by the Chairman of the PDP governors forum,
Godswill Akpabio of Akwa Ibom state, paid a solidarity visit to President
Jonathan at the Presidential villa yesterday April 1st. The governors
in attendance were
Emmanuel Uduaghan (Delta); Ibrahim Dankwambo (Gombe); Ramalan Yero
(Kaduna); Lyel Imoke (Cross River); Seriake Dickson (Bayelsa); Sullivan
Chime (Enugu); Jonah Jang (Plateau); Martin Elechi (Eboyi); and Idris
Wada (Kogi). Speaking with newsmen...
Speaking with newsmen after the meeting, the Chairman of the group, Godswill Apkabio vowed that the PDP will still retains its number of seats as Governors after the April 11th governorship elections. He said their party would pursue all legal means to address any legal concerns they have regarding the outcome of the presidential election
"We as governors came to assure him (the President) that we are going back as field commanders to hold our states and that come April 11, PDP will still maintain its lead across Nigeria. Everybody knows that the only party that is national in nature and is on ground is the PDP. So we are not going to be undaunted by what has happened. The party has already indicated that it will explore all legal means in order to ensure redress. So, we are also proud of the party and we want to congratulate all our voters and all PDP faithfuls across Nigeria for their peaceful disposition. This is the only party that has not carried stick to break somebody’s windscreen after election. Because of the sacrificial stand of the President, our faithfuls are not on the streets, breaking APC windscreens and vehicles. If it were to be the other way round, you know what would have happened today. That is where Nigerians must judge: we want peace, stability and unity.” he said
Good 4 dem
ReplyDeleteThey better pay that visit weeeeell otherwise their budget shall be terribly cut lol
DeleteAll these PDP men should rest. Jona don taya to be president. That's wat I think sha.

Delete" as field commanders to hold our states "
ReplyDeleteYou are yet to be sober?
Its a New Dawn... No Ruling Party....Just Sanity
Don't mind them. I think Nigeria has the most retarded youthful population in the whole world if not, all these songs of praise for Jonathan will not be happening. May the blood of everyone that PDP killed in Rivers state be on the heads of those calling Jonathan a hero.
DeleteThe real hero is JEGA. His silence in the face of provocation went a long way to calm people. If Jega had reacted to that evil plot Jonathan and his wife used Orubebe to carry out, the country would be boiling by now. God flustered their plan and they realised there was nothing more they could do.
These PDP governors can go to court for all I care. One thing is sure, God has decided to deliver Nigeria.
Sit there and watch us take Lagos state

ReplyDeleteThey should pack Aso rock sand while going, cos very soon nobody will welcome them there again. T. A. Orji short man devil I sight you! You've rigged ur way to Senate so that immunity will continue to cover you, don't forget it can't cover you forever. You are not the God of Abia state, bcos of you Abia state did not come out in mass and vote for GEJ. I pray for change for Abia everyday. #Isabella_nice said so
ReplyDeleteWell done guys.
ReplyDeleteGMB has won, we have heard. Change has come,
ReplyDeletewe agree. The Nigerian Lee Kwan Yew has
arrived. We welcome him. However, we expect
to see this change PRONTO.
Constant electricity in four years. WAEC pass
rate
should be 90%. In four years. There should be
no more potholes on our roads. In four years.
We shouldn't hear of crime. In four years. There
must be no corruption in ANY sector of our
public/private lives. The Naira should gain
grounds against foreign currency(that one no
favour me but I go still talk am). In four years.
Fuel price should be N16. In four years. All of
these and many more. In four years.
To all those who rained abuses on GEJ and
Patience in the name of campaign, all I ask is, be
as critical of the incoming government as u were
of GEJ's. Don't ask us if he's a magician oooo,
after all, GEJ was no magician either. We will not
hear the excuse that
Nigeria's problems did not start with Buhari ooo.
We will not hear that change takes time o. Let
us judge him by the same yardsticks...after all,
what is good for Nosa, is also good for Musa,
abi?
At the same time, we have not forgotten all the
promises o. Stipends to the poorest families.
Payment of 'allawee' to unemployed graduates.
Feeding Nigerian students daily. When he made
these promises, he knew about the country's
reserves. He knew that the crude prices were
falling. He said he would do it, and Nigerians
believed him.
We should watch carefully. How will he
constitute his cabinet? What will his body
language be towards bigwigs in his party that
have been accused of corruption? How exactly
does he intend to "pight kwaroption"?
Four years is a long time. A lot can be done in
four years, For the sake of our dear country, I
sincerely hope that change has come.
Seun kuti said it before that this is the time to berry PDP and the time has come to berry PDP now, PDP party must die in Nigeria Amen!

I know you're sweating in your pants because e don be for you...all the money wey you don thief for dis state, plus all the havoc you and your elephant wife have committed, all the blood of innocent people you've shed since you assumed power, they're all crying out against you. Remember Udonwa's mother, the Ekpeyong brothers, or is it the recent killing of Albert Ukpanah and incarcerating his only son, Odudu Ukpanah? Your doom is near...can't you smell it already?

ReplyDeleteGood one
ReplyDeletevery well said sir,if it were to b d oda way round hmm, hausa and violence, smh
ReplyDeleteIf it were the other way round we know what would have happened. God bless Akpabio for having the courage to speak up. That's the painful truth about nigeria. Every northerner is shouting the election was free nd fair bcos dey won. But they re in a hurry to forget that the 2011 elections were also acclaimed to be free nd fair but Sai buhari refused to concede defeat nd the northerners went on rampage. I voted APC in this election my only prayer is that I will not have to ask God to forgive me for that one day. We in the south are not fools o.
ReplyDeleteTA ORJI leave Abia State alone. You are forcing yourself on us. We don't want you to represent Abia central. We spoke and you thwarted our voices. You are callous, inhuman in fact you are a beast. EFCC Pls start your work with the governor of Abia State. You would have conceded defeat like our noble man President Jonathan. After all you were made the PDP chairman of the southeast and it was because of your altitude and inhumanity that made people boycott PDP. Jonathan is supposed to spit on you. You are a big fool. You are a curse and you remain cursed. ****cageyberry****
ReplyDeleteYou are right, if it were to be the other way round, you know what would have happened today. Boko Haram man has won so Nigeria is peaceful. This goes a long way to show the trouble shooters in this country. God bless Nigeria
ReplyDeleteSee the faces of election riggers. God is watching allof you and Nemesis will catch up with you guys as you have all bought your Inec residential officers of your respective states.
