Photos: Meet the woman who is the First Nigerian on the North Pole

Tuedon Omatsola Morgan, a married mother of four, has made history as the first Nigerian to set foot on the North pole. The 42 year old marathon runner, who has finished marathons on seven continents twice, achieved this feat recently. She placed the Nigerian flag on the North Pole, in Alaska. See more photos after the cut...

These are all her children. She said she started running after she gained a lot of weight after she gave birth to her first child...

  5. This is awesome! I found it interesting a Nigerian man would encourage/ allow his wife to do this. But it seems her hubby is white, so it makes sense.

    1. What makes sense? Naija hubbys are not that bad. A man that encourages his wife in her passion is gold, no matter the race.

I watched her story unfold since 2011, and she has been consistent and her hubby has cheered her all the way. I believe all hubbys that love their wives will do the same.

  46. This is why we will never move forward because we don't think! Ask yourselves this, did she go with a Nigerian flag because she wanted to? or because the american flag was already there and she wanted to go down in history shaaa! Nothing wrong with that but let's stop seeing only what we want to see.
