Photo: Another fallen hero

Major A. Hassan was killed on Sunday March 29 by Boko Harram men that attacked Bauchi state. He was the flush commander of 33 artillery Brigade, Bauchi. May his soul rest in peace, amen.

  44. I am not trying to downgrade or insult our gallant soldiers, the present crop of Nigerian soldiers are not as strong as those of the Nigerian civil war era. The ones we now have are there not prepared for war but for fame and respect accorded to soldiers. That is the truth. Nothing but the truth. I personally know two or three soldiers. The terrorists they are facing are not afraid of death but our soldiers don't want to die, like most of us.
