Photo: David Cameron goes to Pastor Adeboye for prayers as he prepares for UK elections

The UK general election will be held May 7th. Current UK Prime Minister David Cameron of the Conservative Party is up against Ed Miliband of Labour Party & Nick Clegg of the Liberal Democrat.

Cameron must be feeling the pressure of the election because he went to RCCG event in the UK last night to be prayed for by pastor E.A Adeboye. When did Cameron become so religious? And when has he ever gone to a black church? Or he's just looking for black votes? Lol.

Labour party we know and will vote for cos they will protect our interest and the interest of the working public. Mchteeew, if he like make he go naija go campaign, oyo is his case

  42. Nigerians with there hypocrisy, when RCCG has a church sent a letter of invite to the prime minister, and he attends, it's normal for you to honour him with special prayers, what has that got to do with soliciting for black vote...Is he contesting with a black man? Linda am so disappointed in your statement, you people have started with your tribalistic statement. So Naturally, blacks won't vote if he doesn't attend church abi??? Msheew!!!

  55. They've experienced the spiritual strength in nigeria

    ReplyDelete
  56. Politicians when they need something they will know the road to church for prayers!!!

    ReplyDelete
  57. Who are we to judge? The house of God is a place of prayers and when someone of Cameron calibre attends, it's only natural for him to be prayed for. The Holy Spirit can arrest any soul at anytime. And who says he's not a better Christian than most of the bible carrying "actors and actresses" parading themselves as born again Christians who are not just judgemental and corrupt, but full of pretence, unforgiveness, hatred and bitterness. Look around you and you will find them, we all claim to be Christians don't we? How are we as a nation better of? An example is the events of the last elections (the cursing, killings and disunity exhibited by supposed Christians), also look at what is happening in SA, the last time I checked, SA is a Christian nation. So Linda stop this black Church thing for crying out loud! You kinda sound racist! Cameron is a white man in his country, it's not a sin for him to attend a white church! As far as I'm concerned, an "average white" man is more Christian than the black. By more Christian, I mean actually practicing the tenets of the bible i.e. Love, kindness, peace, unity, forgiveness, honesty, transparency, obedience.....we can't even obey a simple standing on a queue until it gets to your turn to be served! So my dear Linda, because Cameron does practice our kinda "showman christianship" does not make him a pagan. As far as I'm concerned, Christianity is more of a way of life and a heart thing not just marking attendence in the church!

  76. Haba!! I was there ohhh linda! for the whole service. He did not come for prayers for election oh. They invited him for the service and he came.
Many politicians even Boris Johnson and Top MPs come for the event regularly. Even sinach was there for yesterday service.

It is pastor kalu that invited him. If you google it you would see that even prince Charles came for Pastor kalu's birthday.

Back to my Amebo update :), After he gave his speech it was pastor kalu that told him to wait that he can not leave without daddy praying for him and his administration . You could see he was a bit uncomfortable at first but had no choice but to wait..
No one even mentioned election oh!. Even the MP for the Borough where the event was held actually came and stayed for the whole event.

    ReplyDelete
  77. Just like Jonathan , let him visit all the pastors , He will still lose . people are tired of his administration and policy.

  80. Well, Buhari chose a Redeem Pastor and it worked for him. In the midst of wise counsel there is wisdom. If we christians cannot unite then we fall.A word is enough for the wise????

    ReplyDelete
  81. I was there and I can tell you what happened exactly. Firstly, he did not go to DGO to pray for him. He went to seek the votes of over 40,000 people gathered there. He wasn't the only one there, a representative from the Labour Party was there too. After saying his mumble jumble he was about to leave when Pastor Agwu asked him if it was ok to pray for him, he seemed a little reluctant before he agreed, then pastor Agwu invited DGO to pray for him and throut the prayers he did not close his eyes nor did he say a single amen. He just kept on nodding his head.... My problem is this: why should politicians have the right to come anywhere near the pulpit??? He obviously didn't come cos of the love he has for God? He came to campaign and why was that allowed. Honestly I am really disappointed with the RCCG team. Someone made a comment " I remember when it was a struggle to get to no10, now no10 is coming to us' of course number 10 will come to u cos u have gathered over 40k people that will make a difference if they vote for him,.,how gullible!!! It's just sickening to me cos Gods altar should not be one used to influence people... I am disappointed! If only the leaders knew that more than half of the congregation don't even have the papers to vote *hiss*

  84. noooooooooooooo Linda, its not for prayers o, if he wants prayers he will meet with the pastor in his hotel. Pastor Adeboye decided to pray which is normal, its Adeboye we are talking about, of course he prayed. This was obviously for votes, it was kinda cool for him to show up, FOL pulls an unbelievable crowd in UK so it was a fantastic place to show your face as a Prime minister thats seeking another term, he was in and out, did not stay long.

    ReplyDelete
