    1. Is it thru dis medium they wil use to do dis while not thru newspaper? Their lost if the Igbo's decide to act on dis.

    2. What will igbos do if they decide to act, lagos will still be in existence and so will onitsha and the east, the king of an area has said his own.. Its left to you to follow or go bac to your various eastern huts

    3. Still on Lagos Elections, some of our Igbo friends and brothers are complaining of Marginalization, isn't it? It is high time we begin to put the records straight and clear all the misinformation going around. In my opinion, Lagos State has been magnanimous and accomodating enough which I don't think anyone should be crying wolf where there's none. Putting the records straight: (1). The Chief Executive Officer of LASTMA Transportation in person of Mr Young Arabamen hails from Esan Central LGA, Efo State. (2) Lagos State Commissioner for Economic Planning & Budget, Mr Ben Akabueze has served in this capacity since January, 2007 having first been appointed by Governor Tinubu and later re-appointed for Two terms by Governor Fashola. (3) The former Publicity Secretary for ACN and currently Publicity Secretary of APC, Mr Joe Igbokwe is obviously not a Yoruba man either. It may interest you to also know that Lagos State has been accommodating to such an extent of allowing Mr Joe Igbokwe double as the General Manager, Lagos State Infrastructures Maintenance & Regulatory Agency (LASIMRA). (4). Sometimes in 2013, when a lady Uzoma Okere was brutalized by a Yoruba Naval Officer, it was Mr Babatunde Raji Fashola who stood up, prosecuted the matter till the lady was compensated. My dear People, Lagos State has moved beyond ethnic divides and I don't think we should allow the shallow minded elements trying to use this as a tool for getting votes succeed in their evil bids. For continuous co-existence in Lagos

    4. Can you imagine. A serious hate speech by a man who they call thier leader and a strong supporter of APC. All they could do is to tweet. Come Saturday, if you know how to pound, pound inside the mortar, if you don't know how to pound, then pound on the floor. A word is enough for the wise and I know the Igbos are wise.

      Delete
    5. Do they have twitter account? Who will attest to the authenticity. I doubt if this is truly coming from them because they have other decent avenues to denounce it.

    7. So folks are mad @ d Oba's bad comments. Vexing Igbo residents will now vote for an Igbo G'nor fielded by PDP - Jimi Agbaje (Yoruba man). Does that change d fact that the Oba's comments have been made. Since Igbos have been in Lagos; kindly share your personal victimization that a Yoruba man have not suffered in Lagos. Go to Mushin (Ladipo) and tell us who collects dues in the market. Bottom line, is that PDP wants to take Lagos back to the era of unbridled corruption as they have lost the “Golden Goose" in the presidential seat and needs the 2nd biggest economy to sustain them. Why are they not been ferocious in other states they are contesting in. A word for the wise!

  16. Dear Lagosian,
Yoruba,s are very decent and reasonable people. No tribe will entertain on their land what is going on in Lagos.
We all condemn the statement of OBA AKIOLU. But let ask ourselves one important question, WHY IS OBA AKIOLU ANGRY WITH IGBOS?
    My answers are:
    1. I WILL ELEVATE EZE NDIGBO TO THE STATUS OF OBA OF LAGOS - JIMI AGBAJE.
    2. IGBO WILL DETERMINE WHO RULES LAGOS- IFEANYI UBAH
    3. LAGOS IS NO MAN'S LAND.- IFEANYI UBAH DURING TAN CAMPAIGN.
    4. IGBO DEVELOPED AND CONTROL LAGOS- JIMI AGBAJE DURING GEJ CAMPAIGN IN AKWA IBOM
    5. WE MUST PRODUCE THE NEXT DEPUTY GOVERNOR OF LAGOS- EZE NDIGBO
    MY QUESTIONS TO IGBOS,
    1. CAN OBI OF ONITHSA ACCEPT ALL THE ABOVE MENTIONED?
    2. CAN EMIR OF KANO ACCEPT ....?
    3. DO YOU HAVE ANY SINGLE TRIBE IN YOUR CABINET IN THE EAST?
    4. CAN ANY TRIBE CLAIM ONITHSA OR ABA TO BE NO MAN,S LAND?
    5. CAN OBI OF ONITHSA ACCEPT THE ELEVATION OF SARKIN HAUSA IN ONITHSA TO OBI STATUS?
My conclusion: We have been living together as brothers for years in peace. You must respect our tradition and institutions.Ifeanyi Ubah should stop jumping around Lagos beating drums of war.
    GOD BLESS YORUBA AND IGBO

Ok, his igaara is on Lagos island, go there and get his head. You all should stop acting sanctimonious. Lagos is not a "no man land". It's some people's state, some people village. Why is the entire Nigeria laying claim to Lagos sef?

God bless Yorubas, igbos, hausas and other tribes.

  88. Alagbado-Ode at 5:51 PM, You be really big Ode. Ewu, fool.

So they were not present at the event right? They did not see the Oba holding the mic making the pronunciations abi?

Well, what the Oba and his chief thief, Jagaban have done with a Fashola govt is to put Lagos under their bondage and that is why they want to kill Jimi and hold on tight at all cost through Ambode.

Lagos shall be free come Saturday. We'll vote for Freedom

  94. i have a simple way to resolve the insult to the igbos. and while the Oba said igloos, he was loosely referring to people from all south south and eastern states who voted against APC. Surely the best way to teach them a lesson once and for all and gain respect here, is to prove that while it is in Lagos, we are a strong enough voice such that our vote or the lack thereof may make or break any candidate for governor. Let us stand as one voice and vote the opposition into power so that APC and other politicians will learn NEVER to underestimate the "so-called" visitors in Lagos. VOTE JK ON SATURDAY, NOT JUST AS AN EXPRESSION OF RIGHTS UNDER DEMOCRACY, BUT AS A DEMAND FOR RECOGNITION AND RESPECT IN THIS CITY AND STATE THAT WE HAVE CONTRIBUTED SELFLESSLY TO BUT CONTINUE TO BE SINGLED OUT HERE FOR DEPORTATION< RIDICULE AND NOW THREATS!!!!

  96. Honestly , I think everybody is important in our democracy, but the problem I see looming here is that Ndigbo are about to fall casualty of electoral battle here again as it happened at the presidential level. Allowing themselves to be misled again by the PDP into a face-off with the traditional leadership of a state where they're accomodated is not a wise move at all. Even if Jimi Agbaje was to win, his allegiance will never be towards Eze Ndigbo but towards the man who already is crossed with the Igbos - The Oba himself. At last this will turn out to be that the Igbos were used and dumped by Jimi. If Ambode wins, the situation might not still be different as long as this Oba is still crossed. This is the bitter reality. The Igbos should be wise and not let the PDP make them casualty here again. They should find a way to mend their relationship with this oba. Politics is a game played with the head, not the heart.

    1. Really? Really? You had to find a conspiracy theory. Kindly develop a spine and stand for something or quietly sit down. You are obviously in support of Ambode but too weak to say so! there is nothing wrong with that, so plz say so clearly and stop theorising crap or telling us who to mend ways with. FYI, we have never been and we will never be used and dumped by anyone....smh...implying we are as dumb as he/she is....hiss!

    2. @Anon10:23 when U fail to tell urself the truth U'll remain where U are in stagnation. This is what has kept Igbos at the back seat of Nigerian politics, and such will continue if U ppl continue with ur wrong political calculations borne out emotions/sentiments.

  99. Oba of Lagos or Yoruba speaks for his fellow homosexuals he mingles with. No one has respect for such dick sucker with crown. He is not a man. He is nothing but mad dog shit. Nigeria has condemn and ready to eliminate such people from our country. It is in acceptable. Mistake or not. Fuck you black bastard.

  100. I hear you say highly respected Oba of Lagos.

I want to tell the general public that wish to urinate to go the "highly respected" traditional tool and urinate.

  101. That we now have State Reps in Lagos of Igbo descent should not come as a surprise to anyone. Rather it should be seen as a sign of the political awareness, sophistication, and development, as well as the cosmopolitan nature of Lagos State. Nigerians are winning electoral posts in the UK and USA. We’re now in what I call a “global household”. Your work will speak for you and it shall be seen by all at electronic speed worldwide, thanks to the INTERNET. As for Lagos, this is just the beginning, the best is yet to come. EKO Akete, Aromi sa legbe legbe. I look forward to the first female Governor coming out of Lagos State before any other state in Nigeria. Long live the Centre of Excellence!!!
