  35. We Nigerians are very daft, myopic and gregarious in our thinking and ways of life. We are lazy, timid and stereotypically 'cowards', we all want a change to suddenly happen in Nigeria without propagating a well cultivated land to nurture such yet unfathomable utopia growth.
Our weakness lies in the various religious etiquettes and doctrines which obviously brainwash us from thinking straight, we always forgive and forget so so soon, we forgot the many lives lost in the Boko haram genocide. ..and yes we are still counting. We forgot the uncountable accidents on our gully eroded roads we call motorways, we forgot the epileptic power supply, we forgot the low standard of education, we forgot the increasingly high rate of unemployment, we forgot the stampede at the customs recruiting exercise that claimed lives, we forgot the depreciating value of Naira, we forgot the high number of serial embezzlers in our government and their numerous corrupt practises with either lost case notes or burnt secretariats.
Yet we woke up this morning., some even forgot to do the house chores, cook for the kids before dashing to vote another idiot into power. The fact remains that GEJ's government experienced lot of setbacks and bloodshed but his tenure was far better than some of his predecessors but the major flaw of his administration is that they lack a good PR to brandish, garnish and proclaim the good deeds of the government. The ministry of information was kaput.
Now, we all clamouring to vote Buhari into power, have we forgotten the many atrocities committed when he was in power? Please go back and dig well, Buhari is not a saint. How are we so sure that he will perform better if voted into power? A case of refurbishing a pretty 'Olosho' with the mindset of maybe or maybe not she will do away with her old ways?. As humans with blood flowing through our veins we are bound to an unrepentant obsessive compulsions.
The most foolish set of Nigerians are the so-called celebrities campaigning for politicians trying to purchase the minds of Nigerians at such a cheap price by using their 'empty' songs as bargaining chips. 'God go punish all of una'. Ambode seem to be the only person contesting in Lagos with posters everywhere, what annoyed me most was the theme song that was composed by these set of 'zero-talent' musicians. That wasn't called for for God's sake. Celebrities and musicians are meant to be indifferent about political issues. 'May the soul of baba Fela curse all of una'. The only case of attempted assasination made on the life of the late Bob marley was to get rid of him because he refused to influence politics in the December 1976 election in Jamaica. How many of you Nigerian celebrities will take a bullet for refusing to campaign for a politician?.
The long and short of it all is that whoever we vote in, as long as the generation of these unscrupulous old politicians keeps coming back into power Nigeria will remain the same. I will safe my vote till am rest assured that we Nigerians yearn for a true change and not refurbishing an old corrupt leader. Go home! Safe your vote!. At least when you go to the store to buy an apple product and the store manager tells you that the product you desire is not in stock will you buy a windows based laptop? Of course not because what you desire is a change from the old ways but what these politicans are doing is typical of a store manager of convincing you to buy something cheaper or something that looks like an apple product. Tell them you are expensive and prefers expensive quality stuff not the old routine windows, so you will definitely safe your money till they have your product., So go home! Safe your vote!

  71. For conspiracy theorists: It is actually in INEC's best interest that the card readers work so they can show they did a good job. It is in the interest of the opposers of INEC/Jega that they shouldnt work. So you should ask yourselves... who are the people/parties opposed to Jega and could they be sabotaging the cards or readers!
