Photos: Tanker explosion at Police HQ in Port Harcourt

A tanker exploded behind the Nigerian police divisional headquarters along Agree road in Port harcourt, Rivers state this evening. People in the area say the Fire Service is yet to come to the scene of the explosion. More photos after the cut...

  10. Sum tyms it bits me on hw dis so called fire services operate. To tell u the truth, the fire service station is jst 5mins drive away frm the police HQ. I guess non of the fire fighters wia on sit wen this explosion occured.

  41. A fuel tanker has no business on that axis of aggrey, because there is/are no filling stations in that domain. So what is a tanker laden with petroleum product doing there? I pray no casualty though because that domain is mostly Residential.
