Does the commissioning translate to power in your home and mine?

I live in a highbrow area of Lagos and we haven't had up to 10 hours of power supply for over a week.

We keep commissioning white elephant projects that end up not seeing the light of day.Its well.

  28. its so funny that Nigerians dont know how blessed we are to have a Phd holder as a president.rather we are talking abt someone who is not even a graduate, is there any govt in d history of this country that has built more federal roads than this admintn, electricity has improved, people in agric sector getting loans with collat, private oil dealers can no longer horde fuel bcos of mega stations everywhere, freedom of speech etc

    ReplyDelete
  29. May God be with them. But why is Linda all about accidents these days?

    #CHANGE

The word that is giving some sleepless nights. The word that is making some pastors cringe with fear that they now tell to their members that a drunkard carries divine mandate from GOD (not my GOD sha)

The word that has brought out our stolen $20billion and another #21billion to be shared just to make sure that #CHANGE does not come.

The word that has confused some to the extent that they have nothing to campaign about but to attack the personalities of who ever talks about it.

The word that has endeared many to the man whom we now wonder why we missed him in 2011.

A word so powerful that elections had to be postponed because of its momentum.

A word so magical that the bowler hat is busy seeking spiritual meanings to it from Living Faith to Redeem from Dunamis to Chosen.

This same word has kept many busy day and night looking for other words to counter it but no avail.

But the good news is that we are capable of change. We don't have to continue down this road that leads nowhere. We have been at it 6years & mathematically speaking there is nothing extra that 4more years will add.

#CHANGE is only logical at this point in time. Do with your vote as you wish. But as for me #CHANGE is what my heart desires!

FORWARD GEJ, FORWARD PDP, FORWARD NIGERIA!!! THEY HAVE ALWAYS SAID THAT ACTION SPEAKS LOUDER THAN VOICE. NOW IS OBVIOUS WHY THE ASSOCIATION OF PRACTICING CHEATS /APC ARE AFRAID OF THE 6WKS SHIFT IN ELECTION DATE. THEY DO NOT WANT NIGERIANS TO SEE AND HEAR ALL THE MONUMENTAL PROGRESS NIGERIA HAS MADE UNDER YOUR AMIABLE PRESIDENCY. OBJ WASTED $16BILLION OF OUR MONEY BUT ADDED LESS THAN ONE MEGABITE TO OUR ELECTRICITY. UR SUCCESS SCARES THEM ALL. YOU ARE DIMISTIFYING GOVERNANCE. YOUR PRESIDENCY IS SHOWING THAT TRULY NIGERIA CAN BE BETTER AND CAN BE TRULY TRANSFORMED WITH THE RIGHT HEAD . IS NOT SKY ROCKET GOVERNANCE BUT GOVERMENT OF THE PEOPLE BY THE PEOPLE FOR THE PEOPLE FOR REAL. UNDER A TRUE DEMOCRACY, ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE. NIGERIA CAN SINCERELY MOVE FORWARD.

When I made an inquiry at the PHCN office, they said it was a national issue but people in other areas where APC has not yet bribed have light.

Please APC stop playing politics with the lives of Nigerians.

  39. "Re-commissions"...Are you implying that no work was done to bring it back to full operational capacity?

A little historical perspective explaining that the unit that was restored had been out of service for over 10years would have put your choice of words in the proper context.

Anyway, I understand: You have to attract traffic to your blog with Transformational FACTS presented with a slant that'd appeal to the 'shange' people in the #AffidavitPeoplesCongress.

You need to first get the site, do an EIA which takes time due to the fact that Nigeria has two seasons (rainy and dry) and then it gets approved. Then you start work which takes many more months. Educate yourselves people. It is not your fault that you were born into foolishness, but trust me, it is your fault if you refuse to educate yourself and you remain foollishly ignorant. 103. President Jonathan was in Ogun State to "commission" the Olorunsogo (not Omotosho. Omotosho is in Ondo another one built by OBJ that Jonthan claims) Power Generation Plant yesterday.

The only thing they didn't tell you was that the Plant WAS ALREADY COMMISSIONED by President Obasanjo in 2007.

Anyone who knows anything about the Nigerian power industry knows that the Generation plants in Omotosho, Papalanto, Alaoji and Olorunsogo and Geregu are the flagship Nigerian Integrated Power Projects (NIPP) projects of the Obasanjo administration. It's the same projects they accuse Obasanjo of spending billions on and we still didn't have power (an ignorant allegation championed then by Hon. Ndidi Elumelu). The present governor of Cross River Liyel Imoke was the force behind these projects as Obasanjo ' s adviser on Power and NIPP coordinator and later Power Minister and I remember US company General Electric supplied the gas turbines.

So what exactly did Jonathan go to "commission" again in Omotosho? The propensity for lies, fraud and mischief by this Jonathan government is embarrassing to me as a Nigerian. I see his vuvuzelas now claiming he just built the plant. It was built, completed and commissioned by Obasanjo in 2007
