Oyedepo, Adeboye, Oritsejafor disgracing God - Primate Ayodele

Founder and Spiritual leader of Inri Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele says notable religious leaders, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, Pastor E.A.Adeboye and Bishop David Oyedepo are disgracing God with their actions by hobnobbing with people in power and not having the courage to tell them the truth. The clergyman said this in an interview with Yes! Magazine
"Oyedepo, Oritsejafor and Adeboye have disappointed God. They see the truth but they are not saying it. I will be frank. These frontline pastors; Adeboye, Oyedepo, name them, PFN, CAN have they not disappointed the Nigerian masses now? Jonathan goes to Adeboye, what's the other man's name? Politicians have corrupted all church leaders. They are not saying the truth. Adeboye, Oyedepo and other big pastors are not saying the truth. We know that the economy is bad, things are not going right but they should have the courage to face them. For the first time let us be bold enough to tell them "What you are doing is bad". Tell them, "change from bad to good".
"They say Lagos is moving. What is moving in Lagos? Lagos is just there. Nothing is moving in Lagos. Both APC and PDP have destroyed this country. Pastors who are to talk are part of the corrupt system. Bishops, Primates, Prophets. Everybody is going to answer before God. I am not here to judge any Pastor but I am standing on the altar of truth" he said

    2. Primate, if the President wants to cone to your church, you will welcome him. The church is opened to anyone. If you have heard them preach, Oyedepo especially, he never talks about any politician. We only pray for peace in the land and we pray for our leaders. From the local govt councillor to the president because it is there in the bible. Anywayz, I know for sure he is not into politics at all.

These so called Men of God have contributed greatly to this county....redeemed church alone has employed over 3000 nigerians, winners chapel has done the same...They have given out scholarships, every year they give out food items and relief materials to poor people..The fact that it's not publicised doesn't mean they don't do it...how many people have you helped on your little capacity...bunch of hypocrites and judgemental nigerians...no matter what they do...they'll still be poverty..

APC and PDP are nothing but conflicting criminal gangs. Its crystal clear, just that Nigerians have been forced and cajoled into supporting either gang.
As for the so called men of God, their queue on judgement day is getting longer and longer. If care is not taking, God might need to employ some judges and magistrates to judge other people while He himself faces the MOGs

  31. I agree wholeheartedly. The judgement of God is upon each and everyone of us whether we believe or not. When our exam here on earth is done, then what? Wealth and riches may buy you praise, comfort and fame here on earth, its your report card as determined by your creator that buys you praise, comfort and fame in heaven where it really matters. A word is enough for the wise.

Its like i m kinda HOLIER than them if judgement is base on issues under discourse.

    2. The prophets of old were truthful and do exactly what God ask them to do. If God send them on errands, they go with the exact message except for Jonah and if we read our bibles, we know how God Himself dealth with Jonah and all the false prophets. I'm not too versed in d bible but I know a few things. Those prophets in the bible were true to their word. They did not put wealth and selfishness first. They did not build family business and called them churches and they did not see white and call it black. We keep saying "touch not my anointed and do my prophets no harm" but are our men of God today especially in nigeria who they really ought to be? Where are they when innocent people are being killed daily, when people go hungry because government will not pay salaries, when the only successful ones are the corrupt ones? Nigerians, let us pray for stupidity to get out of our system so that we can see the realities of life and the reality of surviving in a country nigeria where only a**liking, vices and oppression thrives. A man of God comes out to say the truth and you the future leaders of nigeria cannot see the truth in it but to shut him up. Hian

The church members are as confused as I am, but unfortunately we have cowards as religious leaders today, afraid to speak the truth for fear of castigation and loosing a few notes, your people look up to you for guidance, but no, they rather seal deir lips and pretend they don't practice politics. Who is fooling who? The men of God of old were bold and courageous, ready to be prosecuted as long as they stand for christ and the truth. It's the opposite today, all they are interested in today is sowing seeds, tithes and offerings while the masses wallow in suffering. May God help his children!

  96. It is very annoying when people say that political leaders should not be admonished by men of God. I disagree. The role of the prophets in the bible were more of admonishing the political leaders of then... e.g David, Solomon were all cautioned when they went astray, sometimes this is not done in the secret. Our Pastors have abandoned that devine role. also people always use this jargon "touch not my anointed" stuff as an immunity to cover wrong doing of the men of God. A pastor, being human can be corrected when he or she is goes atray.

  98. When the church doesn't speak with one voice, then we have more problems, the church has disappointed Christianity, half of the issues we are facing as a country is also because the church is not one, when the body of Christ is divided in a country how do they want God to move, I dare say when the church is united, speak with one voice and get rid of its selfish ways,God will bring the change we all seek, but until,we say we want change but we don't want to change, shame!
