INEC extends deadline for collection of permanent voter cards

Find the INEC press statement released today below...
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has extended the deadline for collection of Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) to Sunday, 8th February 2015. This supersedes the earlier deadline of Saturday, 31st January 2015, and is intended to give registered voters yet to collect their PVCs the opportunity to do so in readiness for the February 2015 general elections. Continue...
INEC hereby calls on duly registered persons not to delay in going to collect their cards before the expiration of the new deadline. The Commission reaffirms its determination to make the 2015 elections free, fair, credible and peaceful; and urges all stakeholders, including voters, to spare no effort in working towards the same objective.

    1. Please even if we don't want to vote let's collect our pvc. The incumbent intends to use uncollected cards to rig the election.

  9. As for me am beginning to tend towards GEJ. He has proven to resilience and sincerely want to serve as opposed to Asiwaju explosive package. I am worried that Buhari is not democratic and it's not good for a multi culture environment.

  13. No amount of extension will be enough, since there is no much difference Between the PVC and the TVC people should be allowed to still vote with the TVC

  16. I don't know if these people are aware that their officials in Anambra state r charging 500naira for the collection of PVC's. If u don't pay, they won't even attend to u. Even to get the slip u'll have to pay 300naira.

Wasn't talking for PDP guy, I wonder what certificate you have, I was just saying that even if you have PVC that doesn't mean you can vote anywhere you are, that should have been an improvement over the Temporary Voters' card but you rear it wrongly look before you leap next time asshole FYI I rep #TEAMGMB2015

  27. My question for INEC in this their free and fair election thing is: How did APC get voters phone numbers with full names in respect of PVC. I'm beginning to think that PDP's investigation report is true.
