RCCG goers in Abia Provinces asked to come to church with their PVC?
According to twitter user @Miss_Jayla, Redeemed Christian Church of God goers in Abia Provinces were actually told to come to church with their Permanent Voters Card tomorrow. Is this true?
Everything is true in Nigeria, they want to bless there PVC, so they would vote wisely and for the right person, religion would soon doom Nigeria and Nigerians

Dude it's an order from the general overseer and it's because he wants all redeemed members to get registered, and take part in the elections. It's his own way of teaching his children to stand up for what they believe in, and be actively involved in reforming this nation.
If churches would "force" people to participate in elections, so be it. Nigerians should not stand by and watch politicians fritter away their future. We must all take part.

I recall very vividly that even before Yemi Osinbajo became the APC vice presidential candidate, Pastor E.A Adeboye had instructed members of the church to bring their PVCs as pre-requisite for first Sunday of the year blessing. Ofcourse, those without it would still be blessed but he made the comment to motivate members to participate in the voters registration exercise. So anyone reading any meaning to it right now is like I said, mischievous.

Has the pastor openly endorsed a certain candidate. Asking for your PVC is a way to ensure you are indeed going to perform your civic responsibility. Your vote is your right. Nigerians are all sort of absurd!
I really don't see anything wrong with it provided all that is being said is for people to register and vote! Where it becomes a problem is when people are TOLD WHO TO VOTE. We shout and pray for change in leaders but don't do our own due diligence - voting for who we want (i am guilty of this too). We might say the elections may get rigged but we should at least do our parts and vote.

It's an order that has been announced since last year Nov, even before Osibanjo was picked. That we r Christians or religious so say doesn't mean we should sit and not participate in the coming election. Once head pastor is onces father and can direct one as God leads or request.
