Photos from the birthday Thanksgiving ceremony of H.I.D Awolowo

Matriarch of the Awolowo family, Chief Mrs H.I.D Awolowo turned 99 yesterday and to celebrate the landmark age, her family and well wishers converged at the Awolowo residence in Ikenne, Ogun state, to hold a thanksgiving service for her. Present at the ceremony were governors of Ogun and Delta state, former Lagos state Governor, Alhaji Lateef Jakande, Princess Abba Folawiyo, her grandson Segun Awolowo and others.     Happy birthday mama. Please tell your grandson to stop his agenda of sacking staff in Nigerian Export Promotion Council. Instead of trainings and approving workshops, his agenda is to sack staff.Since he came, no money, its only his crew that travels and appears in the news. The core job of NEPC is not been done.There will be a revolt if he dares. We had peace until he came. Lawal and the former directors treated us well but his tenure has been the worse so far. Leave us Segun Awolowo, leave us pleaeseee. SAVE OUR FAMILIES MAMA.
