I did some online shopping from the US, wanted to use shippyme to get my stuff to naija but their rates are ridiculous. I'll rather wait for my friend to get them over for me when he comes home.
Use shoptomydoor, much better n cheaper. Shippyme is very expensive.
Anyone who wants to patronize them, first search for shippyme on nairaland and read customers experience. I found out about this a bit late. They could not find an item that was delivered the same day with other goods and signed by the same person for over a week. I think they need to improve on their services. The complaints are just too much!!!

Shop to my door isn't better.Delayed processing and still cldnt deliver my package. Dey refunded my money yes but it was a big disappointment Nd waste of time.Dey used to b called American air sea cargo.
I regularly use them to ship in things from the US and they have only not been able to deliver my item in 5 -12 working days because of issues with Nigerian Custom Service. For a company that is still growing, you could expect a few hiccups. But given how far they have come and the robustness of their web application - real time updates, transparency, i will recommend you try them out.

It looks like shoptomydoor sent their people here to promote their ware. Shippyme looks clean and well appointed and shottomydoor is basically cloning shippyme (badly). You may have a look and compare. Shoptomydoor it is better to compete fair and square.

The company is not as bad as people are painting them. I was in their office on Thursday and I notice that people are just taking advantage of one of their staff who is sabotaging them. How can someone be doing importation busy without adding insurance to their high value items. The company has a bright future.
Shoptomydoor is worst, shippyme is better. Shoptomydoor are very slow shippyme ship twice a week why shoptomydoor ship twice in a month.
People are just over reacting, shippyme are not that bad as people are saying, there have terms and conditions that people don't. Even dhl,ups, FedEx has there own people.
Even the big 3 in the industry ( dhl,ups and fedex) has issues too. I believe in constructive criticisms, we all know how doing business in Nigeria is. The company has terms and conditions, Which most Nigeria don't read . My best advice is that when doing business with any company always read terms and conditions. I have used their services and the only issue that I have was that my items arrived 2 weeks and I didn't receive any update until I called them and I was told that my items were in the warehouse in Nigeria I was shocked. It was there I was told that the mail went to my spam. Please guys always call them if your items has been paid for so that you items will not be delay or it will not start packing dusts in their warehouse and if you ship high value items please and please always put insurance dhl,ups and fedex has the same policy.
