Polo Avenue unveils 'Fashion Series' in support of Nigeria’s fashion industry

In recognition of the vibrant and dynamic Nigerian Fashion Industry, Nigeria’s leading luxury goods store, Polo Avenue, has announced its support for the growing industry through an initiative called “Polo Avenue Fashion Series”

The Fashion Series premiered over the weekend at the Polo Avenue boutique on Ozumba Mbadiwe Avenue, Victoria Island, with an event which was witnessed by fashion enthusiasts from across the world as well as guests and highly esteemed customers of Polo Avenue who were held spell bound by quality and finesse as Kinabuti, an ethical label out to empower women showcased its Vlisco Khan Autumn/Winter collection.

Speaking at the premiere, Executive Director, Polo Limited, Jennifer Obayuwana noted that the fashion industry in Nigeria has become very interesting with a lot of innovation and committed brands poised to make a difference in the industry. “For us at Polo Avenue, the decision to support the fashion industry was birthed as a result of the quality, style and commitment of designers who have strived over the years to add value to the industry. As you already know, the sustenance of luxury business around the world is based largely on quality. This has been our watch word and as a responsible organization, we are pleased to support brands that show excellence and top quality in their work which is what we are doing with the “Polo Avenue Fashion Series” she said.
Also commenting, Managing Partner, Kinabuti Limited, Francesca Rosset noted that there was no place to showcase the Kinabuti Collection aside from Polo Avenue.

“Polo Limited is the unmatched leader in the luxury business in Nigeria with a reputation of quality, style and value. We are proud to be associated with Polo Avenue and appreciate the support we have received as well as the opportunity given to display our collection in this exotic store”.

The event which lasted over three hours had models exhibiting the series of fabrics on a mini runway to the fashionable crowd. Guests were also generously entertained with premium champagne label - Champagne Vollereaux with soft classical music to create the right ambience as they enjoyed a classy evening of luxury shopping and fashion display at the Polo Avenue boutique.
