Ex NBA President Okey Wali released after 13 days in captivity

Former President of the Nigerian Bar Association, NBA, Mr Okey Wali, who was kidnapped on Oct 11th in Port Harcourt by unknown gunmen, (read here) has been released. According to a statement released today and signed by the current President of the NBA, Mr Augustine Aleghe, Mr Wali was released around 11pm last night after spending 13 days in captivity.

The statement did not state where Mr Wali was released and if any ransom was paid for his release.

  6. thanks to God for him...but i wonder why when a public figure,politician is kidnapped/released it makes headline news.but if it is ordinary man,no body will hear about it..oh! the world of the rich...
