Photos: Fatal accident on Lagos-Ibadan expressway

Nine persons including a child died this morning in a fatal multiple accident that occurred along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway. 

According to eyewitnesses, 2 Mazda cars collided with a Petrol tanker which immediately busted into flames. Men of the Nigeria Fire Service, Police and FRSC are currently at the scene managing the situation. The fire has since been put out but the traffic is still said to be on a standstill. Continue...

    Black Nigerians, when would you begin holding your leaders accountable for their outright failure and inhumanity?

    The whole purpose of being a higher animal is to be able to learn from past mistakes, that's how countries advance.

    This Ibadan express accident has become almost a daily occurrence, but no corrective measures have been taken. Neither has residents of the area revolted. Everyone just whines for a moment, calls out God's name, pretend to care about the lost lives, then life goes on... on to the next bloody collision.

    What a country!
