Photos: 9ice takes his political awareness campaign to Ogbomoso

Singer 9ice, who is from Ogbomoso, Oyo state, visited his constituency today September 10th for awareness campaign and to identify with the electorate. He addressed a large crowd that gathered at the Town hall in Oja Igbo, and promised that if elected to represent Ogbomoso Federal constituency 1, he will use this salary to do developmental projects in the constituency.

9ice declared his intentions to go into politics many weeks ago. He plans to contest for House of Reps in 2015. See more photos from his rally today after the cut...

  72. Hmm,

why are we usually the country that adamantly portrays itself as one lacking intelligent and useful celebrities? How educated are these celebrities on politics and what it truly takes to push this very peculiar Country forward? what "general good" have they morally displayed in the past to warrant such expeditions? Why should their being in public offices be the platform they insist would make them show how much they care? what "real" humanitarian awards has any of them been blessed with before now? who are the responsibly-experienced politician vouching for them. When would we have the opportunity to breed True/reliable politicians when most of the contenders are obviously wrong for the job?

9ice I wish you all the best....in whatever it is you might be good at (which you are obviously yet to discover)!

    ReplyDelete

  88. Funny reading through this "He will use his salary to do developmental work in the area"... I love that! I will use my salary to develop the area...and keep the allocation for the constituency (that's the caveat, which was not expressed).

I will spend my salary for you, but I will keep the allocation...Who is fooling who?

I learnt the guy said he has achieved all that is there to achieve in Music...I dey laugh o! Let him tell us his achievements in Music (one hit wonder). What should the likes of Sunny Ade, Obey even TuFace be saying...No doubt, he is just an opportunist. Musically, he is finished and he is just looking for a quick money grab.

    Shine your eye Ogbomosho people
