The couple, who have been plagued by divorce rumours for a while now, did a good job last night to dispel the rumours when Jay Z, carrying their daughter, joined Beyonce on stage after her incredible performance to hand her the award.
Jay Z, with tears in his eyes, kissed his wife, while she called him "my beloved." And then adorable Blue Ivy said 'Mommy' and a visibly moved Beyonce said;
“I'm so full. Thank you. I have nothing to say but I'm filled with so much gratitude. I thank God for this moment. I love you so much. 'Baby Blue, I love You. My beloved, I love you. Thank God he didn't say musician. As far as leaping around half naked, shaking boutty and lip synching is concerned,shez the best. Rihanna has no stage presence and autotunes 2 much(though very succesful) and all others try to be like them.
But as a musician, I don't rate her above 30% and I'm being generous.
These present musicians, what do they offer? Let's analyse it.
1)they don't write their songs. They pay song writers. People like Beyonce bamboozle song writers into giving her co-credit all in her perfectionist quest.
2) they don't generate thier tunes. It's studio mixed.
3)they don't play any music instruments. None at all!
4)they auto tune dier voices 2 get the perfect pitch. Most are guilty of this. Those who will come n claim Bey doesnt,have u heard her sing accapella? In this regard Beyonce is better than many but nothing great. Like the voices of Dolores O'Riodan, Adele, Emmy"Lee, Emilie haines, Sarah Mclachlan, Mariah Carey, Andrea Corr, Angelique Kidjo, Celine Dion, cher,Aguilera and even Dido Armstrong. These people have better and higher vocal ranges than Beyonce can dream of. They are clearly superior musicians and alive: and no love-starved husband seeking to lure his wife to bed with flattery can wish them away.
5) these musicians lip synch. So attending dier concerts is just star power or to watch booty motion or a nip slip.
Away from generalisation, Beyonce's music isn't memorable. Content is poor and commercial. She's lacks philosophy, her lyrics are lacking in sophistication. Something sex starved housewives and depressed girls use to find succour. She will not be remembered by our grandchildren, no one will play her music beyond this generation. Even her daughter won't remove her records frm d plaques on d wall in her apartment to play. If you doubt me, how many people still play what she sang in 2003. 'Crazy in love' 'Baby boy' n co. Lol. And then she even had better music than now.
