SSS arrests Nigeria Football Federation chairman, Aminu Maigari

Embattled President of the Nigerian Football Federation, NFF, Aminu Maigari has reportedly been arrested by the State Security Service agent in Abuja.

Mr Maigari is said to have been arrested today August 26th alongside Musa Amadu the NFF Secretary General and Chris Green, a board member, as proceedings for the General meeting of the NFF began at Chida Hotel in Abuja. Reason for their arrest has not yet been disclosed.

Embattled Maigari was recently reinstated as Chairman of the NFF by FIFA after being impeached by the NFF Board members in July.

  16. After setting fire to the glass house why am I not surprised that the idiot and his cohorts have been rounded up? These clowns think they can simply do whatever & still get away with it because their corrupt papa in the other glass house in Zurich will cover their ass. Sorry to say but the corruption engulfing the football world is far worse than what we face in Nigeria. Olori buruku they must explain why those files had to be burnt. Shikenan!

  20. FIFA is supporting impunity. The football body should leave us alone to cleanse the messy football glasshouse. When they steal, they attempt to cover up by torching and come on air to tell the whole world that it's the will of God. They should not drag God into this. It's a classic case of human evil heart at work. Ole!

  22. #FireStarter .... Imagine robbing your organisation, setting them back to the Stone Age and burning the fcukin place down. A THIEF AND A DESPOT.

HE MUST NEVER BE ALLOWED TO HOLD ANY PUBLIC OFFICE.

Confiscate ALL his assets and hang him by his balls. To act as deterrent to other wannabe tyrants and kleptomaniacs, the federal government must unleash punitive punishment on that bloody scumbag (Aminu Maigari).
