Photos: See how the world's richest family spend their holiday

If you have some money, you go to Paris, France for your holiday. If you're rich, you go to Ibiza, Spain for your holiday but if you're the world's richest man, you rent a $5million-a-week super yacht that cost $330million to build. 

Bill Gates, worth $76billion, his wife Melinda and their three children Rory, Jennifer and Phoebe are currently holidaying in a super luxury yacht moored off the coast of Sardinia, Italy.

 The 436ft yacht called The Serene is owned by Stolichnaya vodka magnate, Yuri Scheffler, and is the world's 9th largest yacht. It has two helicopter landing pads, 12 staterooms, which includes a master suite, one VIP stateroom, seven double cabins and three twin cabins. It has an indoor climbing wall, a dedicated children's playroom, a fully equipped spa and club, three external swimming pools and one indoors, and an underwater viewing room. After playing tennis in Sardinia, Gates hopes on his helicopter that will take him back to his rented yacht

    Linda I have it on food authority that a new ebola case has been found in nnpc clinic. People are just wicked. She went there and didn't tell them she'd been at first consultants. Since Sunday!!! She's been in their clinic and they only just found out today

    Bill Gates is an excellent example of someone with Humility that doesn't get carried away by his wealth. He can buy that boat but he rents it cos he is not going to use it for more than 2 wks in a year. This is what happens when you make your wealth the right way, peace of mind, generosity cos you know your work was blessed and others are working hard too. The richest man in the world does not waste his money on $25k watches, taking pictures with his cars, or in front of his house like some PAOs(Proper Airwave Olodos) that are just managing. Bill Gates has retired since and his wealth is still counting. Definitely something to aspire to.

    dear Linda did a quick check on the facts concerning the Serene….its actually 439feet 4inches and that makes it the 11th largest yacht in the world not the 9th. Gracias.
