Photos: Lagos State sets up Isolation Wards for Ebola victims

Lagos State Government has built Isolation Centers for patients with symptoms of the Ebola virus at the Mainland Hospital in Yaba. The isolation ward is situated at the back of the hospital and are tents
under which patients are camped and fenced in with planks.

The isolation centre was built to help contain the situation and reduce possible spread of the disease.

Lagos Governor Babatunde Fashola, Commissioners for Health, Dr Jide Idris, and Special Adviser on Public Health, Dr Yewande Adeshina visited the place today and said the facility is ready for use.

See what the Isolation centre looks like after the cut...

    1. Plank isolation ward? Can BRF allow his relative to sleep in such situation , evenif he or she is infected with any deadly disease? I think the isolated unit should be a little more aaccomomodative, rather than that cattle shelter cuz those infected are humans and should be treated as humans. My Opinion.

    2. Don't be negative. It's probably temporal. They have had only a short time to prepare and even countries like the uk are using facilities from other hospital and have only 2 beds

People don't see anything wrong in doing evil, lot of heart of men are stony. The Gospel of JESUS CHRIST is the power of GOD to save. lib readers please u guys need to be born again. Am enjoying success in CHRIST JESUS, am reigning in life. Wow!what a glorious life I have, I can't fail in life, I have power over the circumstances of life. I have heaven inside of me,am an ambassador of God here on earth. Greater is HE that is in me than he that is in the world. My dear people,U need to have a relationship with CHRIST to enjoy what am enjoying, I can't be sick,I can't fail,I can't be broke,I can't be afraid. dear lib people including linda, JESUS loves u all and HE wants to give u guys eternal life, just confess HIM as ur LORD and SAVIOUR, believe in your heart that HE died for ur sins, ask him to come into ur life and be d LORD of your life, say from to day I am born again, I have eternal life in me,I am saved. 2. My dear that's our language and the confidence we have in Christ Jesus for we have God's indestructiable and inperishable life in Him. Therefore no weapon fashion against us in the form of any disease, terrorist, accident just mention it shall prosper for God has said it and that settles it. We are not move by things that happens around the world for we are not of this world and therefor our lives are not control and affected by the things and government of this world for we know whom we are. We shall keep on praying for others for them to come to understanding and to the maturity of this truth and to guide and fill their minds with the right message from the word of God. Jesus is the only answer for any situation and problem at all time, give your heart to him and be separated from any disease and the forcess that controls this world. If your church can not change you, change your church and get the right message from the word of God. I am a proud member of Christ Embassy Church and my life have been changed and reconditioned by the word of God for in Him I live and have my being, I am not move and can never be move by any circumstance of this world. God bless you as you repent and give your life to Jesus and hear and feed your heart with the right message and information from the word of God.

  31. I read on SR the place has no running water yet health workers are advised to wash their hands every hour, how do we achieve this with no water? Plus shouldn't the health workers be wearing protective suits? Instead of just gloves & masks?

  32. Fashola for president!!! I will support this man anytime! This is the only or lemme say; one of a very few capable leaders who can lead Nigeria to where she needs to be! Not this ones that sit on their hands and count sheep!

  33. Maybe this solution to Ebo, s may work

This is for sure. Dongoyayo leave and stem is the solution to the Ebo's...... Cook the leaves , stem for 30mins, drink 2 glass in the morning,2 noon and 2 at night. And also make sure you always have your bath with warm water from the dongoyaro leave and stem. Seriously.  It works. It also cure malaria and fever.
Also steam yourself with the hot water from the leave and stem. Am sure it will work.
