Employee of Gen. Theophilus Danjuma defrauds him of N2billion

An employee of former Defence Minister, Gen Theophilus Danjum rtd, Manasseh Zorto is said to be currently on the run after allegedly defrauding his boss of about N2billion.

Zorto, who was to be arraigned before a Federal High Court in Lagos by the Special Fraud Unit (SFU) wasn't in court when his case was called up yesterday August 29th.

The counsel representing the SFU, Chief Godwin Obla (SAN) told the trial judge, Okon Abang that the police was still in pursuit of the accused.

  25. WHY DON'T I FEEL ANY PITY FOR THIS MAN?

Lord Forgive me. Some of these so - called wealthy people will spend billions flaunting wealth on unneeded private jets, Bentleys, Rolls -royces, Yatchs but their PAs, members of staff, househelps, drivers, people immediately around them will be wallowing in poverty and find it hard to eat 3 square meals a day.

They will pay ridiculous salaries to even graduates staff. (I have first hand info of some of these people). They prefer to spend cash uselessly having multiple girlfriends paying hotel bills just for sex etc, flaunt millions spraying cash at parties all in the presence of these staff.

They will sack female staff who have dignity enough not to sleep with them
Popping champagne the value of these people's monthly salaries. . . and you say they should still be allowed to keep such money?
ESPECIALLY MEN, the women are even better.
e tay self. na only 2 billion?

  64. TY Danjuma is one of the richest nigerians but hes lowkey. he donated 150 million USD ie 16billion naira to his foundation to help women and children last yr or so. alot of people have money but dont shout about how they help people with it.
in case u dont know, hes younger bro is caroline danjumas nee ekanems husband and he run ty danjumas shipping line, cant remember the name thou but they are like the biggest players in the 9ja shippin industry.
he owns sapetro which has one of the most profitable oil blocs in 9ja. so 2bn is childsplay to him. well, he got the oil bloc has been divesting so he can afford to live whatever life he likes. for me, hes one of d biggest philanthropists in 9ja just that he never brags about what he does

    ReplyDelete
  65. TY has been in active visible business for over 35 years after retiring from an unblemished military career. Whats wrong if he succeeded in Business?

    ReplyDelete
  66. It is common knowledge to Nigerians old enough to know that Danjuma made his money from shipping before he stumbled into oil business. All these talk about him stealing Nigerians money is Bull Sh*t.

With his consistent virulent criticisms of unpopular governments like that of Babangida, OBJ, and even Yar'Adua, at least one of these men- especially the vengeful Baba Iyabo would have exposed Danjuma had He stolen Nigeria's money.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Zorto zoomed away with Danjuma's money, and some thieves like zorto celebrate zorto? Na wa for Nigeria ohh. Hard time fi dey oh

    ReplyDelete
  69. Choi! Chai chai! There is God ohh! I have followed this man's success closely and have discovered how genuine he is.

Before his recent entry into oil business, for nearly 40 years, Danjuma ran his Nigerian/American shipping line very very successfully.

HABA! This guy employed over 25,000 Nigerians in his shipping business ohh...especially when most of the new kid billionaires in Nigeria today were either in school or yet to secure an identity for themselves.
What is really wrong if this oldman made it big in business?
Make Zorto and his ilks also go labour and make money like this old man. THIEF NA THIEF!

    There is God oh!

    ReplyDelete
  70. The Danjuma I know has been a celebrity in business. He worked hard and the guy dey very intelligent sha!

In his active days in business, he was sort after by almost all the fortune 500 companies in Nigeria. If you don't belive, go ask Guiness nig, plc. Under Danjuma as chairman, Guiness nig. plc was the most profitable in the world. Next only to Dublin.

Abeg make someone tell Zorto, the holy book says 'Thou shall not steal!!!'

Only last year,General Danjuma gave ABU Zaria over 2 billion naira. Years earlier, he built a library worth over 5 million naira for Ajayi Crowder Uiversity, built and equipped a hospital worth over 700 million naira for Nassarawa State University. How many of these rich Nigerians think and spend for the poor like Danjuma? Only God knows whether the 2 billion zorto stole would have been spent in igbo land to build schools for our male children who no longer go to school in the east. Zorto must return his money!
