Pres. Jonathan nominates FRSC boss as minister, to replace Stella Oduah

President Jonathan has nominated the current boss of the Federal Road Safety Commission FRSC, 43 year old Ositadinma Benjamin Chidoka as a Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to represent Anambra in the Federal Executive council.

According to reports, Chidoka is most likely to replace former Minister of Aviation, Stella Oduah who resigned her position in February. A letter of his nomination has been sent to the Nigerian Senate and would be read on the floor of the Senate today. Abubakar Olanrewaju from Kwara state was also nominated and would replace former Sports minister, Bolaji Abdullahi, in the Federal Executive Council if confirmed by the senate.

I'm sure he would do better as the minister of aviation. He has a strong drive for positive change.

  16. I have mixed feelings about this news. Chidoka has been good with FRSC (IMO) and i wish he'll continue till infinity. If he becomes a minister for a few months, what will happen to him if the Jonathan Government doesn't make it next year? Be a good minister Chidoka, so that if Jonathan is re-elected you can retain your position for a long time.
