President Jonathan appoints new Political Adviser & Senior Special Assistant

President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has appointed Professor Rufa’i Alkali as his new Special Adviser on Political Affairs.
Professor Alkali, a Political Scientist, once served as National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and was appointed Pro-Chancellor, Federal University of Technology, Minna last year. He hails from Gombe State.
The President has also appointed Hajia Baraka Sani as his Senior Special Assistant for Schools’ Agriculture Programme. Hajia Sani was until recently, the Kano State Commissioner for Agriculture. Both appointments are with immediate effect.

  2. Yep Prof Alkali is an intellectual,a soft spoken man and doesn't talk anyhow.
    He did better than Olisa Metuh when he was PDP publicity secretary, he would have done better than Bamanga Tukur had it been he was made PDP chairman then.
    I hope he doesn't advice GEJ to be chasing rat when his house is on fire,like the other one allowed him travel to Kano to dance Dorobucci.
    I wish them the best in their new appointment.

  19. The Nigerian Government already has the largest number of appointees,too many people doing the same work and in the end has nothing to show for it.
    Eg...Ruben,maku,Reno,okupe.
    How many media people do we really need when there isn't anything new to tell us anyway.

    1. Doyin Okupe is a joke... I watch hardtalk on BBC 2 days ago where he was invited to defend d president. He was a total joke.... I was cringing watching his aggressive tone and he is suppose to be our spin doctor... Shame on YOU OKUPE... Fat Fuck, for embarrasing d nation and Nigerians on International TV... Hope he was sacked after that awful performance... No difference between him and Patience.. SHAME
