Explosion reported in Creek Road, Apapa, Lagos

So wait, bomb blast in Adamawa, Abuja and now we are hearing about another one in Lagos on the same day? According to a LIB reader who claimed to have witnessed it and according to a breaking news report on Vanguard, a bomb-laden car went off at Folawiyo Fuel Depot close to a Petrol Tank Farm at Creek Road, Apapa, Lagos around 8.30 this evening. The eye-witness said the explosion came from a Benz car parked right beside a LPG tanker

The explosion is said to have affected four buildings including two banks. Four people are said to have lost their lives. Details later...(photo credit - Vanguard)

If he's not raping a virgin pregnant, he's telling one group of people they are special and they should kill other people.

If he's not killing babies, he's destroying cities and turning good people's wives into salt.

If he's not making someone's brothers hate him and sell him off into slavery, he's letting the virgin's baby die infront of her.

If your god was a person, he would've have been hated more than Hitler. He's literally a million times rose than Hitler, he's worse than all the world's most evil people combined X a million.

  42. When will you arise Nigerians? When will you arise and seriously address the instability? The beat of the mad man's drum is changing to a fast tempo and all we are doing is ignoring it wishing it would go away. This is no longer about government taking action. This is about the power of a people. The people should take back control. I am talking about riots or demonstrations. I am talking about living together once again in communities. SOmeone saw the person who parked that car. Someone not involved in the evil some how witnessed an aspect of this plot and made the decision to turn a blind eye or deaf ear. Hehn. when the chaos erupts, all will be affected - rich and poor, tall and short, black and not black. Make una take back una country.

Whether West, East, South or North these guys are everywhere and have been long before now. We can only pray that God will continue to render their efforts ineffective. It makes me laugh when some say we need to rise up and fight yet have never and will never make a move. Fight would have been good but if you knew whom the real enemy was. Certainly we cannot hop into the streets and begin to maim every Hausa/Fulani man at sight cos a larger majority have no hand in these senseless acts and would prefer to lead a peaceful life. These mayhem we experience are to very significant extents consequent upon the failure of government and her institutions due to corruption for if we had a strong national security institution, intelligence gathering would have helped to nip the whole BH ideology in the bud even before it saw the light of day. May the Almighty God continue to protect us all from the schemes of evil men, amen.

  46. We all need to assist the security forces by being vigilant and reporting suspicious circumstances where possible. Cars that are found parked on streets with no apparent owner or which appear to have been abandoned are security risks and should be towed away by law enforcement authorities. Even garbage bags left at the roadside can be a tool for the evil doers. Security hotlines should be announced for this purpose. In a world where government can no longer be relied upon to provide security, prayer to God and personal awareness becomes a necessity not an option.

  79. The latest news I am reading about in this matter in other blogs is that it was a suicide bombing. So Boko Haram has finally reached Lagos? It was just a matter of time and I have been warning about this. Boko Haram is fighting for an Islamic state in the north and they do not want a Southern Christian President. That's what all this is about. How many bombs must go off and how many people must die before Nigerians finally realise that the only way to stop this madness is to divide Nigeria? We are anything but united so why are we living with people who are plotting to kill us every day? If anyone is insisting on 'one Nigeria' then that person must be willing to accept the 'bomb explosions' that comes with being with Northern Nigeria.
