Chibok abduction: Female police, Civil Defence officers join women to protest in Lafia

Female police officers and officers of the Nigerian Civil Defence Corp came out today to protest with women in Nassarawa state over the abduction of the Chibok girls. The women who gathered under the aegis of Federation of Muslim Woman Association of Nigeria(FOMWAN) and the Women wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria(CAN) Nassarawa chapter, took to the streets of Lafia, with placards bearing one message - bring back our girls. Continue...

They stopped at the Government house where they dropped a letter with the Secretary to the State Government, Hajiya Zainab Abdulmumin who is expected to pass it on to the state Governor.

One of the police officers, an assistant Supretendent of Police (ASP) said during the protest
"We are law enforcement officers and men. See us, we are women, we are mothers. Its our daughters today, it could be we tomorrow" she said as she fought tears.

  4. We are audacious than we think.we can no longer allow ourselves 2 be under a cloud.diz kidnapping issue is superflous & we can't put up wit them anymore. Candidly, the govt & us gat 2 squeeze ourselves in2 tight - fitting trousers, register into judo classes, & then file out in2 the street & punch the face of every boko haram member we behold.conjecturin they had their fingers in every pie & we gat 2 put a halt to it. Real men don't buy girls. #BRING BACK OUR GIRLS.*** CROWD * PULLER * PLEASER***#

Remember terrorist Kabiru Sokoto hiding in Governor Karim Shettima's lodge in Abuja? This will help draw your mind back to what you have forgotten.
In the beginning was the discovery and arrest of Kabiru Sokoto, one of the deadliest commanders of Boko Haram at the Borno state governors lodge in Abuja and the governor claimed ignorant of his stay there.
It has also been revealed in the current Chibok abduction saga how the same governor Shettima flagrantly refused to accede to the request of WAEC that the students be relocated to a safer environment in Maiduguri insisting that the exam be conducted in Chibok inspite of the security challenges.
But when the girls were abducted, the first act of the governor was to rush and distribute the sum of 1 million naira each to the parents of the abducted girls. And the question that comes to mind is: what is this money meant to achieve? To silence the parents or what?
Again for 20 days after the abduction no individual or group claimed responsibility but a day after President Jonathan gave a marching order to governor Shettima to produce the girls, the leader of BH, Shekau appeared on the scene and released a video claiming responsibility for the abduction. So who is fooling who?
Why are we still pretending not to know the sponsors of this devilish organization?

  48. Finally, the prediction of the international intelligence agency in USA that "Nigeria will disintegrate by 2015" is now coming true. US having vowed to withdraw aids and assistance from Nigeria after signing the anti-gay law now sends troops to assist. With the arrival of the FBI and US marines into the country reveals the plot to project Nigeria as a more vulnerable and helpless nation hence making its leaders most dependent and as a result, a high threat to our sovereignty as a nation. We have seen this happen in syria, southern Sudan, Mali, Libya, afghanistan etc where majority of this internal insurgency where alleged to have been instigated by the US and in a bid to offer assistance they control the nations resources.
Need I reiterate that currently there is a struggle for the 'World economic power' between china and the US. With that in mind, we also note that Africa & Nigeria in particular is a fertile economic ground, therefore who ever seizes control of the continent, seizes control of the worlds economy. This is Americas dream, This is their plot, this is their chance. Let's be wise. #GodsaveNigeria
