According to BBC, Boko Haram members last night May 20th
launched a fresh attack at Alagarno village in Borno State killing at
least 17 people. Village sources say virtually all the buildings in the village were also razed.

I can't but comment on the present state of the Nation. Each time I read about the killing and maimedness of innocent lives by some politically motivated religious bigots, I always cry profusely. I cry for a Nation which is gradually degenerating to anarchy I cry for a Nation blessed with abundant human and natural resources but has failed vehemently to utilize properly I cry for a nation so loved by God but fails to love God I cry for a country where stealing does not mean corruption I cry for a country where one wakes up every morning to be greeted by the news of suicide bombing and the condemnation of our capricious political leaders. A nation where 500 able graduates are interviewed for 10 teaching positions by a private secondary school. I cry for a nation where nepotism and favouritism are the order of the day. When will a graduate be employed by the federal or state civil service without knowing or bribing some politicians in power?
