According to a breaking news report on Channels TV, suspected Fulani
herdsmen are currently attacking Wukari village in Taraba state. Eyewitness reports has it that about 15 people have
been killed but police officials say its only 7 that are reported dead.
Reports also say several houses have been destroyed.
Unconfirmed reports has it that the wife of the Taraba
state Governor, Dr. Mrs. Hauwa Danbaba Suntai was caught up in the
middle of the fight but has however been rescued from the attack scene.

ReplyDeleteAm sorry to say this Linda but this news is false. we who are over here knows that its not fulani herdsmen in any way. the fight has between the indigenes of the place "the jukuns" and the muslims. secondly, just in the area i stayed yesterday for safety, more than 15 were killed, adding the 3 that was gunned down this morning.
