Doyin Okupe takes responsiblity for misinformation on abducted girls

Mr Doyin Okupe, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Public Affairs, yesterday took full responsibility for the misinformation on the 100+ abducted Government Girls Secondary students who were taken from their hostel on Monday 14th in Chibok, Borno state by Boko Haram men. He had issued a statement saying the military had released the girls. It was later found to be false. The girls are still missing.

Does he know the implication of what he did?And for his mind, the twirra apology makes it alright?I guess he was high on something or suffering from temporary madness when he made that statement..He should go personally to Borno and apologise to all the parent whose kids were abducted. Then come back to thesame media he used to spread the false infor.

The Military should deploy more resources in this search in other to forestall the massacre of parents, volunteers nd civilian JTF that has taken it upon their self to go against heavily armed BOKO HARAM militia with clubs nd sticks. Those girls must have crossed Nigerian borders by now and they might end up being used as sex slaves and cooks. GOD HELP NIGERIA

If a top government official can send such message on twitter with such typo then we've got a long way to go. 74. No surprise here at all. When a man's career revolves around repeatedly standing the truth on it's head amnesia is bound to set in at one point. Watch this space... One of these days Doyin Okupe'll wake up and forget his own name!
