I think the problem is more with Nigerians and not CAF. We never accept defeats in good fate. No wonder all our elections always end at the tribunal. When Kanu, Ikpeba, Amunike won it everything was fine but now that it's going the other way round there's cause for alarm. We seriously need to do a lot of soul searching

Sentiments apart, Yaya Toure is a father to Mikel on the football pitch. He is far better. It doesn't matter whether Nigeria won Nations Cup; that was a team work. And Nigeria as a team has won laurel for that. Mikel is very lucky to have been shortlisted in the first instance in the top 3, because Nigeria at the moment lack extraordinary international stars. However my congratulations go to both Yaya Toure and Mikel; and also to their Mentor and grandfather, Drogba who had won it twice and has always been on the top three since 2003 till date
