    1. Stupid comment, regardless of sexuality, gays are still Nigerians and they have every right to dignity and freedom.

You cannot fathom the intellectual assets Nigerians are throwing away, gays are the most intelligent and resourceful people you can meet.

The western world's economies thrive because of their contributions

    2. This westerners don't like us. Why haven't they interviewed anti gay people. Na so so gay people dem they interview. Do they want to impose their culture on is. This cnn is a very corrupt organisation Abeg. They only promote the western agenda. Why are they not interviewing Arabs and accusing the Arabian government. It's only Africa them always criticise. They still want to keep ruling us after independence. Na so them do for apartheid, yet the same bastards would pretend to eugolize Mandela. Africans wake up and be free of western influence. The same westerners thru IMF introduced SAP and encourage of our past leaders to borrow heavily from their banks. Made us devalue our currency etc. Nigerians let's embrace our culture and not that of the white man!

  12. POST of The DAY:
HOMOSEXUALITY, A RIGHT AGAINST HUMANITY. This is a question for all advocates of gay rights.
    1. If your mother and father are homosexuals (gay and lesbian), where will you be today?
    2. If you were not born into this world because the parent who were suppose to give birth to you choose to deny you life by being homosexuals, where will you be today to support homo? The simple truth is that, gays and lesbians had violated the fundamental rights of many children by denying them a right to life as contained in the universal declaration of human rights. Human right means rights and duty. You have right to live, but you must not deny others of their life. You have freedom of expression, but you must not deny others of that freedom. By being homo, gays and lesbians had and would trample on the rights of the many unborn children, a right which they enjoy to be 'HUMAN'. If the parents of gays and lesbians deny them life by being gay or lesbians like they wish, homosexuals won't be born to life, not to talk of being homo. Let me put it on the record again, there is nothing like human rights without human, and any concept which seek to end human creation and recreation is a great violation of humanity. It is like a right against humanity. On this note, i wish to state that, the rights of being homo is not a human right, but rather,an inhuman right. A right can't be human and seek to end human existence. If human existence is ended, there would be nothing like human right. MR. RIGHTS.

      Delete
    9. @abdulrazaq people like you talk like they know book but na last then dey carry for class.having kids is a choice its not a must for everyone, its only in nigeria that its a must, that's why you see people like you who are not raised well, judging other people and supporting violence.14 years in prison will destroy an innocent soul.so after 14 years would the gay guy start liking girls.answer you idiot.

    10. Av bin reading this Gay ishh on this blog for a bit now, so lemme add my own thots.

First of all i still don't understand how any normal man will forsake the indescribable pleasures of female company/vagina for hard shit filled male Anus.....iono maye??????? That will forever confound me....Thats my own opinion tho...cos errbody is entitled to his or her own opinion
Secondly A bill passed by the Government on this kind of issue should be a reflection of the mind of its citizens as regards the issue....... 95% of Nigerians BLANTANTLY do not support sodomy!!!!!!!! So the PEOPLE HAVE SPOKEN!!!!
The US and CANADA can pass whatsoever laws they desire in THIER OWN COUNTRY!!!! That's the bidness of them and thier citizens.

Although i will admit that truly the Government has more pressing issues to deal with than this.......If the Assembly were passing bills this fast against corruption etc we wouldn't be in this state today.

#linda daalin pls post this....it took me a while to type#

    14. Are you deranged? What stupid questions are you asking. People are born, people die, people have children and people don't or can't, your statement is neither here nor there. There is no human law that says we must procreate. If your religion says you should, so they can have more to add to their numbers, thereby have more people to steal from, then that therein is the crime against humanity.

Your religion makes you slaves to mystery Babylon, altars put up to baal and asherah, disguised as a virgin, you drink symbolic blood and eat symbolic flesh, they abuse your children for rituals to enlarge their congregations and perform the most debauched acts known to man behind closed doors, and then you come here with your ignorance, ranting like a lunatic about things you know nothing of.

Evolution has interceded so that no more made animals like you will be born, that is the basic fact about homosexuality, it is population control.

And to be frank, what is purer than love despite adversity? You people will murder your Christ fit the second time if he came again,

have you asked yourself WHAT WOULD JESUS DO? I'm sure 100% he would not condemn any to death, which is this sentence of 14 years, just because a man or woman loves someone of the same sex, There were gay people in his day, not once did he say a word about them.

You people are full of hate and it's not gays you hate, you hate yourselves, that is why you can never know mercy, love or goodness.

Let it be known, you have blood on your hands, all of you, and the angel of vengeance will surely visit you because you have shed innocent blood.

Instead of protecting the lowly and burdened, instead of raising up the downtrodden, you turned your backs and like a mob of rabid wolves, you rouse up in frenzied blood lust.

Love thy neighbor is as important as the love of God, do unto to others. God has tested you all, he has not come and knock at your door as a pauper man or a cripple, he has come as gays and Lesbians and you have condemned him to death. YOU HAVE FAILED.

    15. What is natural law? Is it natural to drive a car, wear clothes, shit on toilet, eat with fork and knife on a plate? Fly in aeroplane? Live in a house? Take a shower? What is natural about humans? We are the only creatures on the planet capable of creating anything and yet you debase yourself by comparing yourselves to animals that doont even know they exist.

We are not guided by laws of nature, we infact create laws to define our existence. The same way we wrote the Bible is the same way we created God. Let's not let our creations lead us to destruction.

The law has been fulfilled, because we could not abide by them, it's the gun that we create that kills us... That is the logic. Be the masters of your own existence, today it's gays, tomorrow is the poor, next it's the barren or the albino. People be careful what you support.

  65. Ignorance is most definitely the bane of Nigeria! I'm sure some of you, with your ignorant comments, has had the privilege of visiting some western nations; were it not for the like minds that stood up against slavery, as they are now standing up against persecution of homosextuals, your ignorant selves would have been turned into slaves, as opposed to strutting down the hallways at their airports. Last time I checked, the bible did not condem slavery. Clearly, you all think you can escape your demons(the gross moral decay in Nigeria) by demonizing others! Its for your moronic minds, that a country such as Nigeria in its state of delapitation would expect so little of their moronic leaders, thus jubilate at their low intelligence president signing stupidity into law; rather than start leadinging all you morons out of the darkness you are now stuck in!

Sure they will start flauting their "whoremood". Imagine when you see 2 grown ass guys kissing in public- that's like a huge nightmare. A total bad day. Let they be in hiding for a while and probably turn straight. Nothing so cute like being straight!!! God created Adam $ Eve for a reason. He knows a man needs a woman, a woman needs a man and that's normal. Gay is abnormal!!!

But what did Jesus, the man who we say we follow, teach us to do with sinners? What did he do with prostitutes? Most of us just listen to the headlines and jump on the bandwagon of Christianity. Let this issue come home - children, uncles, aunts (yes, that includes the married ones) - and I wonder how many of us will go to the police to report them! If not, that's 10years in jail! That's a human rights violation - period!

  75. Being Gay,homosexual or lesbian is not something people learn. Anyone of us could have been born gay. I see this law as baseless because it wont achieve anything. If gay people could find a way not to be gay, dont you think they would have chose that option? I am not gay, however,I have gay friends and I will never think less of anyone based on their sexual preference.Probably less than 0.2 of the Nigerian population are gay so why make a law that affects so few while there are far more important issues to address? We live in a free society and if two consenting adults decide to go down a different sexual route, its not my business or anyones. This has nothing to do with religion as no one is appointed the 'spiritual director' of anyone. This law is stupid and will not stop a gay person from being gay,all it will do is drive them underground and land innocent people in jail. 10 years in jail for being gay? Nigerians have lost their minds!! The Nigerian gay community should be encouraged to come out to the open, instead, they have been ostracised as if being gay is a disease that is contagious. Shame on Nigerians for supporting this stupid draconian law that seeks to punish people who have done no wrong

  80. In my opinion these arguments are rather futile. Issues bothering on homosexuality amongst Africans is one where you rarely find people moving grounds. The one who claims to know will never be able to convince or educate the one who doesn't know and this is for a simple reason; majority of Africans do not understand the topic at all. We simply do not understand sexuality. Now when you talk about 98% of Nigerians being in support of the bill, how many Nigerians actually understand what this bill entails. What does an average Nigerian know about sexuality outside of the usual "my bible or my Quran said this or that"? As far as I could remember in Nigeria we do not talk about sex at all in general as basic as that is. Sex is sacrosanct. It is in Nigeria that you would surprisingly and shockingly find girls who would rather be infected with HIV than be found with pre-marital pregnancy for the simple mindset than they'd rather die in secret than have to deal with the public opinion. Now how horrible is that. Now this doesn't in any way mean we are in a safe corner morally as it may suggest, in fact in most cases we are worse than the westerners. The only difference is that while they are willing to own up to their lifestyle and beliefs, we'd rather do these things at extreme rates in private. We major mostly in pretence and hypocritical living simply because most of us are not willing and ready to be unconventional even when the majority of us know the truth. No one wants to carry a tag. Now what do you say to majority of these politicians and lawmakers who came out openly in the past to say that their are no gay people in Nigeria and even condemns homosexuality but go behind and keep same-sex lovers and sponsor their lavish lifestyle buying them houses and posh cars with public funds. I won't even mention the ones that sneak out their gay children to Europe and America to avoid the kids bringing 'disgrace' and shame to them. Every honest Nigerian shouldn't deny knowledge of our typical double standard lifestyles at every level.

    ReplyDelete
  81. Sex education in most circles are seen as extreme civilisation and a "whiteman" thing which is often our excuse to make up for our inability to stay progressive in a world that perhaps requires just that from each and every one of us if marginalisation, injustice and inequality must be totally eradicated.

We as Africans and especially Nigerians simply need education on this subject which unfortunately becomes nearly impossible as every attempt to dialogue on the subject often ends in cursing and abuse and the likes. It is very important that we stay balanced in our reasoning. Now when I talk about education, it's not just about what degrees you hold or ability to sound intelligent. No, it is far beyond this. This is the reason you find very educated people sounding pathetic and ignorant on this subject. We are simply not ready to even make the slightest effort to balance our views. We hide under religious and cultural beliefs to enthrone ignorance and injustice at the highest level.

Now am I promoting or advocating for gay relationship/marriage? The answer to this question is an emphatic NO! The only reason for this is simply because I am a Christian and the holy bible which is my manual for living does not encourage this at all. But that not withstanding, that doesn't mean I disassociate myself from someone who says he is gay or treats him with hate as the new Nigerian law suggests. If I do these, I would be as guilty as I would have been for supporting same-sex union if not more, but this time for not acting based on love which is in fact the bases of Christianity. Another thing we tend to forget is that, sexuality is just an aspect of who a person is. As far as I am concerned it's just a sexual preference and that's that. It doesn't in any way define you as a person. It is very important that we understand this as Africans.

Now this gimmick by the president at this strategic time is just yielding the expected result giving the typical fanatical religious mindset of an average Nigerian. This is simply nothing but a political tactic targeting gullible Nigerians who are in the majority. Their has never been a move or advocacy for gay marriage in Nigeria ever. At least not openly and this will never happen. Same-sex relationship is just not our life. So why now? Like someone said; what we need so desperately in Nigeria right now is anti-corruption bill. A bill that sentences people to life jail or death by hanging for any corruption of any sort at any level!

Not one church spoke up for GAYS or LESBIANS despite many lobbying - shame when they should have!!!If you really think it is wrong why not offer deliverance instead of imprisonment?

See Hebrews 10 v9 and Galatians and do corrections!.

Jesus abolished the law of Moses and established Grace -- na wa for Nigerian Christians who are still stuck under the law where there is no justification!
Dont you know that those that are under the law cannot make Heaven? Where was the love Fruit that Jesus expected from you guys when this test was set?

Yes it is known that not many will be at the stage of accepting Gays and Lesbians in Christ Jesus but at least it was expected that the Church would speak up for them and ask for the imprisonment (penalty ) be dropped as it is not a sin - crime against anyone else - see Proverbs 3 v 30, and countless scriptures on Love ( love your neighbor) ..Rest a while in Hebrews and Galatians to get your bearings in this Eternal walk and do corrections.

If you come across any gays tell them what Jesus did for them - He paid the penalty price ! jor give them this ministering video with them if you cant tell them
