I just don't see the most of Nigerian youths joining APC or any party at that.
A lot of young people are of the impression that they have already been disenfranchised and as such their votes won't count.

    1. That's not true that "the youth impression is dat dey'v been disenfranchised" we all av hears and eyes, we ear and see things happening around us. We are delighted that we are look forward to a party that can give us the real sense of democracy! APC, CHANGE!!!

    2. APC? Change?? Dream on. The people leaving PDP, are they not the ones making up APC? Water inside a bottle or a cup, is still water. The mere fact that it has changed home, doesn't mean it has changed its substance my dear.

    3. Nevertheless, they are still better than PDP. At least, we have seen some fast developments in Southwest and they need those PDP members to join them to get to Aso Rock. If u want to catch a monkey, act like a monkey

Everyone seems to have a solution after they leave public office

Nobody has a solution while in office

Is it just me or this is how Nigeria is?

With aggrieved criminals joining APC, I don't see any difference from the criminalistic PDP.

The electoral system and party system in Nigeria are faulty. Until these are repaired, then no hope..

    ReplyDelete
  26. Una be same the only difference is change of name, APC is like PDP, corrupt, visionless same leadership style. We need new leaders but not from PDP and APC.

  66. Linda that's not a good statement to make. All youths should be encouraged to be card carrying members of a political party, that is the only way we can change the tide in this country, we cannot change it from outside, we have to change it from inside. Actors, musicians, artistes and all the celebrities should be card carrying members of a party, its not about the comfort they enjoy now, the question is what type of Nigeria would we bequeath to our children? The trend is to now give birth in the US so that your child would have an American passport, why dont we work on improving the image of our country rather than looking for escape routes. I pray this new exodus to the US would not backfire by the time your son tells you he is attracted to a man and you cant do any because if you do, he would run back to the US...Anyways, I would stand for a better Nigeria and I would register with the APC because whilst they are not fantastic, they atleast have some sense of direction and purpose...

  83. It's amazing how soon Nigerian's forget. What did this man do when he was in power? What has he done so far, other than start inciting and causing trouble ahead of 2015? I am not into politics, I don't have a political party I support, but let's be open minded and unbiased. I am not even pro GEJ. But God knows that GEJ has done better than ALL these silly people decamping and forming APC. I just keep praying for him and for my country. And I hope that one day, Nigerian's will stop having selective amnesia and try for once to stick to something good. Something sustainable. And not sell their votes for stipends politicians throw to them, like beggars. Because trust me, no matter how much they give you, it ll never be even half of how much they give their littlest child. And they'll always take a thousand more of what they give. APC(Anti Progress Cowards)

  88. APC and PDP are no different. PDP is even more better because they cut across religious and ethnic divides. APC for instance is a Muslim party. Not even one member of their National Executive Council is a Christian. How do we now trust a party that is divided on religious lines.

  90. Its so Funny that youth of this country are so empty and bias. The success achieved by America's democracy is the fact that they have 2 party system. Hence one party cannot hold on to power for many years without having any opposition. Opposition makes the government to be on their Toes and that is what we need the people need in nigeria. Secondly, only 5 states defected to APC so its not all of them like some are commenting. What are the achievements this country has made for the past 14yrs and so what's the crime in trying out a new hand. If PDP was performing then we won't need to change but since they are not performing CHANGE has to come. February 5th here we come to join APC

  91. Please let's quit religious sentiments because even GEJ that wines and dines in churches have nothing to offer
