Boko Haram attacks church, kills 22 worshippers in Adamawa state

Gunmen believed to be members of Islamic sect, Boko Haram, on Sunday Jan. 26th launched a fatal attack on a Catholic church in Waga Chakawa village in Madagali Local Council Area in Adamawa State killing at least 22 people. The four-hour attack lasted from 10 a.m. to 2p.m. without resistance from security operatives.

Eye witnesses said two policemen and a security guard attached to the church were also killed during the attack.

The Local Govt chairman, Maina Ularamu, while confirming the incident urged the people in the area to remain calm, saying that security operatives were on top of the situation. Always on top of things after the fact! God help us!

    1. I keep saying this: these people who are killed don't have families or loved ones? Can't they band together to form an assault team in that North? It is Fire for Fire! You live in these places with these people. Band together and fight for yourselves! This ain't no movie but get yourselves organized, get intel/secret info about these people and launch your own black ops attacks on them!

Forget about security in Nigeria! The cops will never protect you cos they themselves are in league with these Muslim Devils!

If you live in the North and you are tired of your people being slaughtered, you will band together and protest or start your own covert operations!

This rubbish must end! Muslims must never be allowed into power or else, Nigeria will be turned into another Libya or Syria!

  20. How these pieces of hofse crap are able to operate for over 2hours without any intervention from security operatives is beyond me.
With pressing issues as this, the government still has the nerve to focus on other issues that are infintesimal and pose no danger to human life?
And as for the bloody local government Chairman who is asking for calm,I wonder how calm he would be when he has his loved ones gruesomely murdered by armed Muslim extremists.
Nig is a such a sorry case.
    Peace to the dead.
    Comfort to the bereaved.

  57. We need state police.

Let's see if they can destroy what they are paid to protect.

These people don't operate without the help of locals. State policing would make everyone responsible for what they have been assigned to cover.

Banking on the Nigerian police force or army is unrealistic. They can't cover everywhere.

    This is sad.

  61. It's wrong to blame it on the islamic religion,if this was a matter of religion won't all moslems be involved, instead a certain amount of them have decided to terrorise Christians and then the weak government sits down nd does nothing, this country is over flowing with military personnel, instead of them beating random people on the road for wearing camo, they should focus their energy on bokom haram, find them nd without regard for their life eliminate this problem once and for all.

  65. Boko Haram will not stop until Nigeria is Islamised...
And the fastest route to Islamizing of Nigeria is an APC/Buhari presidency...

  67. Devil has been waging this war against the church of Christ since the beginning of the church...and sadly....he has failed to realize its lost battle even after 2000+ yrs of defeat...its only a pity that our government has sat idly by as this war comes to rage in our nation...meanwhile...God always has a better plan of redemption for His people...so oga Jona...I say to u like Modecai said to Esther...Who knows if it was because of a time like this that God raised you u up....enough said

  76. WHAT JESUS SAID ABOUT BOKO HARAM/UNBELIEVERS IN JOHN 16 VS 1-4
THESE THINGS I HAVE SPOKEN TO YOU, THAT YOU SHOULD NOT BE MADE TO STUMBLE. (2) THEY WILL PUT YOU OUT OF THE SYNAGOGUES; YES, THE TIME IS COMING THAT WHOEVER KILLS YOU WILL THINK HE OFFERS GOD SERVICE (3) AND THESE THINGS THEY WILL DO TO YOU BECAUSE THEY HAVE NOT KNOWN THE FATHER NOR ME. (4) BUT THESE THINGS I HAVE TOLD YOU, THAT WHEN THE TIME COMES, YOU MAY REMEMBER THAT I TOLD YOU OF THEM. AND THESE THINGS I DID NOT SAY TO YOU AT THE BEGINNING , BECAUSE I WAS WITH YOU....
