Seun Kuti finally reacts to Burna Boy performing in his underwear

During his interview on Rubbin Minds today, Seun Kuti said Burna Boy should have known better than stripping to his underwear to perform at Felabration final at the New Afrika Shrine last month. (In case you missed it, see the photos HERE)

      The problem with bloggers, Linda included is that they give half gist and thus, it produces half results. I watched the interview live. Seun did not criticize Burna Boy. What I deduced is that Burna Boy didn't need that wearing of pant thing to Potray Fela. You know what they say about , it is not what you say but how you say them; he was cool and humble in saying it, from his tone, he answered Ebuka's questions as politely possible. He didn't mean to criticize.

    Anon 8:41 p.m. Seun was an opening act for most Fela's live performances at the age of 6. Maybe, you were too young to know this or you choose to react ignorantly. And who told you Seun is seeking attention? From who if I amy ask? Seun has been touring the world with the Egypt 80 band since the transition of Abami Eda. Lastly, Fela NEVER and I say NEVER performed in his briefs. Fela only wore his briefs in the comfort of his home.

    All those people saying Fela never, ever performed in his underwear please I beg you go on netflix America. There is a documentary on Fela. In it he performed or rehearsed (same thing me thinks since both involved an audience with or without cameras )in dirty brown underwear. Fela did not mind been seen in his underwear he was an eccentric exhibitionist period. So please do your research or better still understand what performance is. It can be live, or in front of cameras. If Fela did not want to be associated with his yucky underwear he would have made a deliberate attempt to cover up. Which he didn't .
