R. Kelly responds to Village Voice story about past sexual assault allegations

R.Kelly has responded to the Village Voice shocking article about his history of alleged sexual abuse of teenage girls which centered around an interview with Chicago Sun-Times music journalist, Jim DeRogatis, who broke the story 15 years ago.

During an interview with Atlanta’s V-103, R.Kelly had this to say about the article;
"Well I feel like I got the football man, and I’m running towards the touchdown and if I stop and look back or mess around, I’ll get tackled. When you get on top of anything, it’s very windy, It’s about holding your balance once you get up there…Spiritually, I’m a climber.”

    Linda, "centre around" is a geographical impossibility. Since language captures life, "centre on"/"about" would do just fine. Just as an aside, "majorly"(instead of mainly) and "severally" (instead of several times)are other points worthy of note.

    I baffles me how these Americans come out and say someone had sex with them at 15, thus pressing for charges...was it rape? At 12 every girl here is very enlightened, even 8 sef. Their parents too will come out and say they want justice, but why not train your child well, where were you when you child was busy runny after celebrities??? If you wanna club in the US you must be at least 21 years old, but I was girls of 17 smuggling themselves into the club, if anything happens to them later, they will press charges. It's just very silly allowing someone camp you in a house or in the car and you later come out to the public and say he had sex with me when I was 15, are you mad??? Did he rape you??? I know Rkelly likes women, but which celeb doesn't?
