Power in the tongue? Read how two friends died within days of each other

Want to share a strange story with you guys. Or maybe it's not so strange...just life! A guy named Albert Mlanga (pictured left) died November 25th and within a few days his burial arrangement was concluded with the burial scheduled for the 4th of December.

Three days after Albert's passing, his very good friend Lele Daniel Torngu (They are old boys of St. Gabriel's Secondary School Makurdi) took to FB to announce his burial arrangement...see it below

Daniel (pictured right) concluded his farewell message to Albert by assuring him of their re-union in the words "...Rest on hommie, we shal come. WE WILL COME." in caps!

Now here's the part that's kinda creepy. A few days after this post, Daniel died after complaining of a terrible headache. He didn't live to attend Albert's wake-keep. Please continue...

Not that I personally believe it, but a few people have tied Daniel's death to his confession - "we shall come," "we will come," "we will definitely see someday..." etc.

"The good book tells us in the book of Proverbs that the power of life & death is in d tongue!" one of their friends wrote on facebook.
Daniel was just 33 years old. May their souls rest in peace. See Daniel's tribute to his late friend on November 26th and reactions on Facebook after Daniel died

Do you guys believe in the power of the tongue?

    5. RIP means rest in peace, that is to the soul of the deceased, till we meet again means we'll surely die and meet again but not sooner or have u even seen someone says till we meet sooner again?pls try and understand the psychological part of words or english before pouring out ur mind. And yeah I do believe in the power of the tongue because God's word says whatever thou decree on earth will I establish in heaven. So either +ve or -ve it shall be established according to the decrement. To them both may their perfect soul rest in perfect peace

Could recall a very wealthy uncle of mine, that once boasted that he doesn't need his relatives and even when he dies, his friends and govt will oversee his burial and his relatives won't even get close to his corpse.
But I guess God interpreted it in another way,he died in a plane crash as fate may have it and his corpse wasn't recovered.

But for u to say u don't believe in the word of God den u are a fool, becos only a fool declares they don't believe in the word of God. 108. Wao Linda wen did u start quoting scriptures? Well yes there is powers in the tongue. The Bible made us understand that the smallest thing can destroy the whole. The tongue being the smallest part of the body, is more than able to destroy the whole. But in this situation, he never said it verbally but typed it. The Bible also pointed out later in matt 7:1 dat we shld not judge, cos we do not know the hidden but the almighty supreme God is in his ability to judge. To me I feel this could be a spiritual attack rather than his fbk comment. Cos the same bible made tells us that we wrestle not against flesh and blood but again principalities and power. It also said that d weapon of our warfare ain't carnal but spiritual thru God be able to pull down stronghold. So this is my own view. U could be right or maybe wrong. But this is a lesson to others who expose themselves on fbk or dish out too much information on fbk all in d name of fame. No hard feelings LIB readers is just an opinion which everyone is entitle to. Much love

  121. It is not a question of what you believe it is what the bible says. It is the power of tongue. The confessions made with the tongue is like wild fire..you can recreat ur world with yourr mouth. Mind what you say. The world was made with word, Jesus was the word of God made flesh. Read James 3 ,proverb 21:23

  122. He didn't profess it, he typed it. So, it has nothing to do with his post. Don't be so naive. People die! That's what they do. He who escapes death lives to die another day.

  134. There is power in the tongues Oo. I remember a time that Adecco(job agency) called me for a job and I missed it. I tried several time to reach them but it was like a close case; it is one of the biggest job agency in Canada so they don't call u again after the first attempt. I just woke up one Sunday and told my husband, 'Adecco will call me this week' I didn't even believe it, I just said it. 4:35pm on Monday, they called me for a better job than I even applied for. Trust me, tongue is powerful. I am always careful what I say since then. This is my own testimony.

  137. The smartest guy here is the one called Terver Atuu - who said "u told Albert you were coming. As for me I am not coming"

In Mountain of Fire we ALWAYS tell people to be careful of what they say and this is clear proof.

So to be clear Daniel you told Albert you were coming, AS FOR ME I AM NOT NOT COMING FOR I MUST FULFIL MY DESTINY IJN. AMEN.
