High Impact Goes to the Middle East!

Solution Media & Infotech, the powerhouse of the #HighImpact series is set to thrill music lovers this winter with the highly anticipated High Impact A2 Festival.

With A-List Artists, performing at an A-themed Concert in an A-class venue, the High Impact A2 Festival is a 2-day event geared towards creating a fusion of African & Asian Music, celebrated in Oriental splendor, typical of the U.A.E especially the Cosmopolitan Dubai.

Scheduled to take place at the Meydan Racecourse, Dubai, the festival will run from Thursday the 26th of December to FRIDAY the 27th of December 2013. Gates open at 4pm on each day. Continue.

 The first day (Thursday, 26th of December), African music lovers will see electrifying performances from the Continent’s finest artists such as;



MAFIKIZOLO
The veteran South African duo/group are set to bring their kwaito genre of music, which has fans singing and dancing to the beat. Currently, their massive club anthem "khona" is making waves all over Africa. Their unique music style attracts both the young and the old from Southern Africa (Botswana, Namibia, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Malawi) as well as the rest of the world.


Widely known for their Afrocentric style of music, which is a combination of western & African rhythms to create a marvelous blend of R&B, HipHop and dancehall songs. The duo will be performing live in the UAE for the first time! Their fan base spreads from West Africa to the rest of the world. "Personally", no one should miss them light up the city of Dubai this Christmas.



REDSAN
The multiple award winning singer-songwriter and Kenyan king of dancehall is one of the most well renowned raggae and dancehall artist in East Africa. His dancehall hit single " badderdan most" featuring Demarco has been in huge success in Africa and beyond. His fan base span throughout the central and east Africa especially in countries like Tanzania, Guinea, Uganda & Ethiopia.

MR VEGAS

The New York based Jamaican Dancehall Star who found fame in 1998 with hits such as "Yu Sure", "Jack It Up", and "Latest News”will also be performing live in the UAE for the first time. He returned from a 2008 retirement in 2012 with the album ‘Sweet Jamaica’, which was ranked ‘Top 50 2012 Albums’ by Google Music. Dancehall lovers are definitely in for a treat!

The second day (Friday, 27th of December), Asian music lovers especially the filipino community will be thrilled with explosive performances by popular bands from the Phillipines….THE ERASERHEADS & PAROKYA NI EDGAR!


ERIK SANTOS “The Filipino Pop King” will also serenade the audience with his amazing hit songs.

MC-JIN the Asian- American Artist from Hong-Kong will also be in the lineup!!!

The venue for the concert is the MEYDAN racecourse, Meydan Hotel Dubai,which has a capacity of 30,000 spectators.
