Explaining what happened during a radio interview yesterday, Kanye said LV vice-president Yves Carcelle refused to meet with him recently in Paris when he made a request to see him.
"I was made for this moment. What happened was while I was out in Paris I wanted to meet with the head of Louis Vuitton, he said I don't understand why we need to meet with you. 'I said, "let me explain to you why you need to meet with me."
'Everybody in New York City right now don't buy any Louis Vuitton until after January.
Referring to the LV boss Kanye said 'Now do you want to meet with me? Now do you want to meet with me? Influence. They think that I don't realise my power.'

You Can't deny that dude is highly influencial and his call for a boycott is likely gonna have an effect on LV sales same way his campaign for them in 2005-2008 did.
And about them turning down Jay-Z,well Miss Blogger,Jigga won't even reach out to LV in the first place cos LV is a subsidiary of something bigger(LVMH). Jigga signs deals with Barney's,Hublot,Ace of Spades,etc.
