Paris is particularly bad with thefts, went there on holiday a while back, went to eat at a restaurant and my cousin left her purse in the booth. We realised like 5 min later and went back and asked if they had seen it. The waitress said yes she saw us leave it but left it in the booth and someone else picked it up.
