    3. Very true! PDP has been ruling since 1999 & we have nothing to show for it. It is better APC gives them a run for their money; just may be they will sit up. Just the same way it is obtained in the US where Republicans & Democrats are all trying to over impress & out do the other. They have been running this country like its family buz. I'm the happiest person earth. I know something good will come out of this bold move. PROGRESS!

    1. The statement "Jonathans re election made easier".....is absolutely a Non truth! ..........
As for me i applaud the merger....you know why???? ....... the Coalition of Apc and the breakout Pdp.....is the only political opposition strong enough to take on the present Ruling pdp!... YES!!!!!!!
For the first time we will have a party strong enough to defeat pdp and boot out Badluck! ...... democracy is a form of Rule that should allow the masses choose a leader out of various candidates.......But if you watch how things have been going since 1999, .Every 4 years..The pdp have shoved down thier candidates down our throat!
WITH THIS NEW PARTY, WE FINALLY MIGHT BE ABLE TO VOTE SOMEONE WHO CAN DEFEAT THIS GOVERNMENT IN POWER! Dats all.

      Delete
    2. Abeg, go and park well, applaud ko, allowed ni, is apc better than pdp? Old or new. Make we dey give our money to some pple who will be buying houses in London. GEJ all d way... take it or leave it.

      Delete
    3. Foolish idiot...so all u care about is a party to booth PDP out abi? Senseless moron. U think apc is what we need. Check all the top members in apc and see that they are hooligans and big thieves. Lagos would be better if not for the likes of tinunbu who is busy extorting money from fashola on a daily basis, atiku nko? Check out what he did at customs....abi na that devil incanate buhari....he is the man behind boko haram.

      Delete
    4. Dear Aymii, what I meant was that Jonathan's emergence as PDP flagbearer will be much easier. The G7 governors were the only opposition that Jonathan really had.On the other hand,I don't see APC defeating PDP in the nearest future. The so called APC leadership do worse things than they accuse Jonathan of doing. The so called G7 governors are just trying to be relevant after 2015.

      Delete
    5. @PC yes u have a point.........Jonathan will get the PDP ticket....straight away!!!! more or less unopposed.....
But you might be in for a shocker!!! ........PDP may not win the Election this time around...i agree that there are no saints in APC......but any country where one political party exercises Monopoly over the presidency isn't practicing true democracy
PDP has held our throats for the past 16 years!!!!!...... in America George Bush was Republican.....Obama is Democrats!... the thing rotates!!!!!

Let Nigerians be able to vote into power another candidate that is not a PdP candidate!.,#Nuff said#

    ReplyDelete
  31. I am not a fan of GEJ but I think PDP is more of a national party compared to APC that has only muslims, northerners and westerners as its excos. PDP cuts across all tribes and ethnic groups. APC is a one man party owned and controlled by tinubu, followed by lie mohammed, akanda and. The terrorist buhari. Its obvious atiku will soon leave them b4 2015 as I believe he is just there for a while till he gets a better negotiation and concession from d PDP b4 he cross carpets again.

I see PDP becoming a minority party soon and if this happens, the prayers of countless poor people would have been answered. The next battle in the APC will be who will be their presidential candidate. We need to watch the next episode in 9D as 3D and 7D will not produce a clear picture.

  41. They have all committed political suicide. APC has nothing better to offer, they are just desperate power mongers. They are even ready to accept the DEVIL as far as they can get power in 2015 but they will never get it. Elrufai has missed wielding such powers as FCT Minister so he is so desperate to be in power again. The fact is that APC will never rule Nigeria. I make bold to say it, they are all loosers heading no where.

Pdp may not be d best, bt there are d only national party wit founding fathers who fought to keep naija one. It is good 2 marry 2 wives 2 know which one is better. Wit due respect to apc, d g7 gov left bc of their greed n selfish interest not in d interest of nigerians

It is so painful that we do not have a strong youth group and leadership that will stand for the rights of all the youths both employed and unemployed youths, If only we knew what this people have done to us then majority of the brave ones amongst us will stand for our rights. A lot of youths are wasting away because they have lost hope and focus but I Pray to the Almighty God to help us clear all the corrupt politicians away so that we can truly have a bright future

    ReplyDelete
  76. APC should be careful because this could be a plot to destroy the vision and aspirations of the party, these people are political prostitutes who have nothing to offer but their craze for power has made them to be shameless. This doesn't worth jubilation....

    ReplyDelete
  77. With tears in my eyes its very sad that i see the breakup of nigeria, see PDP can never allow APC to rule, the will use every machinary they have to win, and again if APC fields Buhari or lamido from the North and Amechi from the south it cant work, south-south wont tolerate that, Thats the beginning of militancy, Igbos wont like to see a Northerner as a president again, Yorubas cannot form a party without getting a juicy part, PDP is the only party that every part of the country was to get a piece of the cake from obasanjo to Yaradua, to jonathan and the next an IGBOMAN, i wonder how APC believes they can KEEP THE COUNTRY AS ONE by allowing NPDP in,

    ReplyDelete
  78. i will only see this merger as patriotic if APC presents Adams Oshiomole as their candidate. but I dont see Tinubu and Buhari agreeing due to their selfishness.

  90. APC might think they have made a significant difference but with this action, they have lost many fans I would think.

My hope was that APC would be a party of change, with people like Fashola who I respect a lot. but with the current development, all I see is a party that is desperate to get to power at all means. These governors have just pitched their tent with APC for the moment, once PDP gives them recognition again, they will leave.

My big problem with Nigeria is that we have no principles, no agenda, no manifesto for each party. We have no idea what each party stands for, rather we just see a recycling of hungry old men that will do anything to hang on to power. Did you see Hilary become a republican because she did not win the democrat presidential primaries? or McCain changing from a republican to democrat? or have you heard of labour becoming conservative or vice versa?

Noo, because they know what they stand for and what they believe in. Nigeria will continue to have a problem if all we do is change parties when things dont work out in our party. Of what use are these 7 governors? What have they done? All of this is because they want the North to have the presidency in 2015. Thats all bullshit.... Elections should be based on merit not on where you come from.

  104. Na small small PDP monster go become the largest opposition party for universe lol. But my greatest surprise is the kind of moronic sympathy Nigerians on this blog elicit for PDP. So we still not fed up with this failure called PDP. Perhaps our Baba in heaven has opened a book of judgement over the PDP house of horror. Good riddance!

so if you APC are not comfortable with iNEC will you
form ur own electoral body come 2015?
Hahahaahahahaha shud Nigeria disintegrate into 2
and we have southern and northern Nigeria, will you
northerners allow Amaechi to be your president and
Ngige vice presidio in northern Nigeria.? LOL. Cos if
definitely it happens Amaechii will hav no place in
    south south.

  108. For those that studied Nigerian politics over the time...its damn too early to start criticising Apc now, without waiting for the party to put all structures on ground.Imagine a Nigeria where there is no strong political opponents and no rule of law.I vote based on individual performances not on political label,we have suffered alot and prayed for a very strong opposition to help us give d ruling party a good fight
