Ex-beauty queen Nike Oshinowo welcomes twins via surrogacy

Wanted to get more info before posting. So here's what I found out. The former beauty queen welcomed a set of twins - a boy and a girl, via surrogacy a few months ago in the US. Nike and the twins returned to Nigeria on Monday September 30th. The twins are Nike's biological children but was carried and birthed by another woman - something like what Giuliana and Bill Rancic did. The identity of the children's father is currently unknown but there are indications that Nike bought sperm from a sperm bank in the US. The 47 year old who has over the years battled endometriosis already has two adopted children. Congrats to her.

    For those who don't understand what a surrogate mother means, read this. A SURROGATE MOTHER is a woman who bears a child or bears children on behalf of another woman, either from her own eggs or from the implantation in her womb of a fertilized egg from the other woman.

    Good for her that she's honest about it. A lot of families do this when they have fertility issues but they'll pretend that the woman is pregnant. There is no shame in having problems and choosing an available option. Much better than all these baby farms with teenage girls being taken advantage of. Congrats to her

    in the US,they DO NOT take a womans's eggs after the age of 40.When you are over 40 and want to do IVF, they use donor eggs.Those are not her biological children.
