Brymo takes shot at ex-record label? See his tweets...

Ahn ahn, you can't make dead people your mentor na, Brymo! Hehe. He's obviously bitter about the split. But if you must make a dead person your mentor, let it be this man - John D. Rockefeller - the richest man in history...worth $663.4billion in 2007 dollars but died in 1937. He founded what is known today as Exxonmobil, Chevron, University of Chicago etc. Amazing story!     I love Brymo's music, he has great lyrical content and his music means something but he really needs to suck it up and move on...Is this not the same person who refused to do a show in the UK because he wanted 'white' people at his show. I don't understand this white validation bullshit that Nigerian and Ghanian artists love to perpetuate. That's another story for another day Now you have decided to be independent do the work!

    Brymo should please let us hear word! When you walk out on a contract with a record label that says all the song you have written under that label is an exclusive right of the label, then you can't perform those songs, you can't 'feed off ur sweat' dude! Ask Mo' Cheddah, Soul E, and many more international acts that went before you! The record label brought you to limelight, put your name on the lips of everyone, then you wanna walk out on that? Wait till 2016 wen ur contract was meant to expire! Stop lamenting on twitter...it won't work! Why do you think the Judge didn't rule in your favor? The Law is on the side of Chocolate City! Get with the program, get a new name, write new songs, or come begging, else you might get arrested! Believe that!!! - Dude that knows!

    Now the other artistes should learn from this and always read the small prints.choc city just proved to you that he went to school or at least had the business mind to use learned people to draw up your contract.there is always an escape clause and if none is available,have it included.at the time,the label probably needs you as much as you need them.empower yourselves and get an education.(formal or informal)
