Fela aparrently started out a normal young man until the govt killed his mother plus the oppression in the country and he,like his brothers too, was obviously mentored by his parents not to tolerate any form of dehumanisation of man and his rights.so,he took up his best form of expression,music.while his brothers made impact In their own spheres.the Incessant imprisonment obviously worsened his drug problem but that family is a great one.wish parents still teach their children values and standing up for right.

Thanks 4 ur correction, professor, but u know,anything is possible with naming a child, especially during that time in America, there was there this African conscious amongst African Americans bcos of their struggles to be accepted in d American society as equal to whites in America. Also, example of people who are are Americans but have Africa names are:
Kanye West: K, is Kanye an Oyinbi name...no, but his parents gave him that name, which means "to mark" in ibo
Kwesi Mfume: K, u might not know this name if u haven't lived in America, but this guy was a civil rights activist back during d civil rights movements in America. If u don't know, his name is a Ghanaian name, n hearing that name, u might think that he's Ghanaian
