Yay or Nay: Bridesmaids in black sequin dress

Y'all know I love black and these dresses look fab, but is black appropriate for a wedding? Are black bridesmaid dresses a 'do' or 'don't' ?

    2. I sooo love it. What's with black and funeral? A bride told all her friends to wear black gowns of their choice wit purple asoebi fan,fascinator and brooch and it was very lovely as girls came in all sort of lovely gowns.let's nt restrict ourselves if we knw what we want

  38. I attended the weddin on saturday 15th α̲̅Å‹Ï‘ peeps those gals were lookin hot..bar tobi ekomaru the son of justice chukwuma ekomaru's α̲̅Å‹Ï‘ the daughter of dr mrs angela uwakwem's dauhters wedding ..mhnn I lovd them when I saw there dresses..dats black in a beautiful way..go gals

  55. Abegi, all these NAYS should park inside gutter jor. That was the reason we lived in fear dreading the colour RED as a wedding Aso-ebi for decades if no centuries, and alas! Someone started the Red trend and my wardrobe is filled with red Gele, over 15. YAY, YAY!! YAY!!! All the way. It is all about the celebrant and what she wants anyway.

  94. I think black is a bit doesn't fit, may seem to make people uncomfortable. But this is all a matter of personal preference, the black dress is also very good, if you can, you can find it here beautiful cheap wedding dresses.

  105. Who says Black is only for funeral... why do we have the LBD (little black dress)? we wear black to work and parties are this funerals? if we can trace the history of weddings some centuries back we'll find out that wedding dresses were black.
    somebody decided on a white dress and it has stayed with us from then till now. in my opinion a wedding dress should be anything you are comfortable in for the occassion.
    As for the black bridesmaid dresses its a good contrast from the bride's dress which i guess was white... beautiful dress and they look "LAS VEGASish"
