  4. This is actually getting too much, nigeria needs some health scheme like the NHS, then people can easily get free treatment for illnesses like this instead of allowing the sick to become beggars

    1. It seems u haven't heard of the NHIS. Nigeria has enough health insurance companies, so stop whining and don't ever be a victim of "IGNORANCE" due to your lack of Nigerian exposure.

  9. Zara,May God heal u and bring ever spoilt part in u back to live and replace the dead 1s with brand new 1s...

My advice is to all the Stars and young guys still making a good living now, please, watch what u eat, what u drink, what u smoke, toes u step on and how u spend the money u are making today.

I am not saying Zara or OJB have done anything bad o or the stepped on toes, but I am only advising that we should honestly just pay more attention to ourselves, the more junk, the more fast food, the more substance abuse, the more drinks and all the unwise decisions, the closer we are to ill-health and to killing ourselves,u can't drink all the Hennessy in this world, only u can Smoke all the weed in this world and bcoz u have access to ladies doesn't mean u must sleep with all the babes or eat all food and spend recklessly.

Yoruba's will say "Alejo ni owo" it literary means wealth is not permanent, but wealth in real sense can be permanent and last generations if we are careful and not lavish in spending on meaningless things.

Now that ever1 knows u,that u are making all the money, think fast, think smart and think of how to sustain ur self and ur family for life, younger singers, actors will someday come to light and u will inevitably be kicked aside, please let's plan and live wisely...
1ce again I pray God gives Zara and OJB good health,He is the ultimate healer and the greatest Surgeon!

    Love you all!

  15. To start with, i know this might not go well with some people but lets still reason out.
    1. We need some kind of health insurance thing in Nigeria. Even thou i'm a student, i still have to come up with $1100 every 4 months for my health insurance in the US, but at least i know i'm covered from the exorbitant health care prices in the US.
    2. Celebrities cry too much foul when they are sick in Nigeria, I'm sure they know how to spend big when they hit it big! We will pay to buy your songs, pay for concerts, and still pay for your medical bill!!!

    1. U have a point mehn!!its crazy!wen dey have so much money dey spent it like goats!wen dey fall sick dey want us to pay!

    2. I agree with ur number 1 point but you shd know that this lady in question was just starting up in the business before she got sick. She is not asking for you to pay the entire bill but to help her out. She has been paying her bills before now and I am sure without your change she will still continue.

There are some sickness that just consumes money no matter how wealthy you are. I bet you that the amount you are coughing up for ur health insurance does not cover everything. It does not cover copay, medication and God forbid if you shd have surgery, give birth or have a stay in the hospital.
And dont forget pre-existing conditions too.

  28. There is no known cure for multiple sclerosis, however there are treatment which can be used to reduce the pain. Let me start by wishing Zara a speedy recovery, i would do my part by donating.....

However, it is important for people to watch what they say..... the POWER of the tongue, i don't wish this for even my enemies......

Every human being has an Ego, and if he/she has said they need money, then trust me they need the funds.

    If u have give,

  33. My mum had MS in 1999 and she suffered it throghout till she died in 2010. I was there all through, taking care of her. I understand her pain and i wish and pray that she will never get to the point my mum got to. May God heal her in Jesus Name. I also agree with the person that says OJB should show a little kindness by donating from the money he got befor the gov paid his total bills. He could give her maybe a thousand dollar whiich is about 160k

    ReplyDelete
  34. I know Zara and she is an amazing person. Why do bad things happen to good people? I pray to God for healing for her in Jesus name. MS is a horrible condition, and she needs persistent therapy. Her situation is almost worse than OJB. Please people help her out. Zara if you are an American citizen/resident (please move back). There is no pre-existing condition clause anymore.
On a second note why don't the other celebrities come together and talk to the government that the health care system in Nigeria be fixed. For real. This is celebrity health care system ni? How many poor people can ask Nigeria for money? If you guys don't do it soon, when you're in need you will be forced to do the same thing. Which I don't condemn, but won't it be better if you can just go to the hospital? I mean there are Nigerian physicians running away to the same countries you guys are going for treatments? A lot of Nigerian physicians want to come back, but there has to be some way for them to take care of their family too. I'm a physician in the states, and majority of the best black physicians are Nigerians.

Also i would like to point out that the Gofundme link doesn't even have Nigeria on the list should you want to donate....

So how can those in Nigeria contribute?

  38. God will heal you dear

  39. Anonymous 3:30... You're ignorance. Nobody is talking about insurance... insurance without adequate state of the art facilities, or not being able to trust your physician is rubbish. Can you yourself stay in Nigeria for a kidney transplant. How many pooor people in Nigeria can afford the so called insurance. ejo go sit down.
