    1. Am only gonna say this once, who sed pastors and men of God have to be poor??? The Bible neva sed they shud be poor to show humility, dats a lie frm the pit of hell, the bible says dat "it is God who gives the power to make wealth" also "he wishes above all things dat we prosper and be in health even as our soul prospers" so u guys ranting dat pastors are stealing church funds are jus ignorant fools, some pastors mite be, but dat doesn't mean u shud generalize and say every pastor doing well is stealing frm his church, dats very wrong. Remember the bible says "touch not my anointed and do my prophet no harm" this also includes dissing dem wit ur tongues, so next time wen somethng comes up abt men of God, if u are not sure, do urself a favourite and don't chip in, some of dese men are anointed men of God, chosen and blessed by God, so don't rush to judge who God has ordained, dis is a piece of advise. If dey are doing anythng wrong, leave dem to God to judge, it's not ur bizness, neither is it ur funds dey are stealing...."watever u envy u can never have" never forget that

  3. Even the bible says "Wisdom is profitable" In a country where pastors are killed like chickens in the North what can you say? So a pastor who can protect himself shouldn't do that because of "simplicity" right? Don't tempt God!

    ReplyDelete

    1. Ur own wisdom is questionable. If a pastor is killed, it is gain for him bc d Bible says death is a gain for believers. In fact, it baffles me dat a pastor shud be afraid to die. Protection is not his to provide but d job of his God if he truly knows Him. This acts of self defence by some pastors is completely indefensible, so don't even go there. O boy shine ur eyes

    3. Many self acclaim pastors will do signs and wonders in my name (Jesus Christ) but at the end I will tell them that there works are not acceptable because I did not send them. Let those who have ears listen and hear what the Holy Spirit is saying to the church.

    4. @ anonymous 10:20, your ignorance is appalling, it stinks to the highest and upsets my internal system. What makes a pastor different from you? Where do u watch your back when u move around, lock your doors and very security conscious. Why dont u leave your own protection to God only without making any human efforts....isnt the pastor a man like u, isnt he also someone's husband, father and son? See, he is a known face unlike u, its a general believe in our society that pastors are rich which makes them easy targets, therefore he needs additional security. That been said, the bible enjoys us to do all things in moderation. The pastors that died in the North were killed for the sake of the gospel, because they profess Christ, not because they were rich...so pls dont twist the bible, if u dnt understand the scriptures, spend more time studying it n less on LIB...it will profit u a whole lot....

  29. Timi let them be now, those bodyguards are probably their disciples. Moreso the number of body guards can not stop death when the time is ripe which I'm sure they know cos they are pastors.
Allow them ,they have money so they are only trying to reduce the number of unemployed people in Nigeria cos those body guards have families to cater for .
As for you Timi i am your very good fan,I love the power in your voice ,I voted for you a number of times during west African idol days even when you messed up and we gave sympathy votes to you which led to Joddies's eviction .But pls keep keeping on,I want to see you do a song with Joe and R.Kelly for those are the other voices that I like.

  33. Timi has gone insane and today marks the beginning of his downfall

    1. If a common business man, Councillor, commissioner, CEO can have escorts, why shouldn’t a pastor have one? If kim wana come to nigeria, you see guards and bouncers everywhere, you see artistes, musicians going to places and you see them with escorts

2.When you all become a big man, you would understand these things

    3. Even as small as you are now, you value your privacy and wouldnt want people to hack into you any how, talk more of a pastor that people will wanna hold, touch, …..
In one of the Shilohs, a guy jumped on the altar to hold the Bishops leg (thats in church o) how much more when he is outside in an open space

    4. Beef and hatred that many of you have for big people will not allow you get there in life. It is so easy to sit in your bedroom and type cos of internet facilities. Whatever you dont value you can never possess.

    5. I am thinking, how many of the pastors sef? what percentage of them? maybe just 1percent cos only one percent can afford that. All the ones with no car in the village, you dont see them. so how come you say “pastors” as if its all of them or majority of them

    6. As small as you are, you have people who wash your clothes, people who dry clean for you, people you send on errand to buy recharge card and shawarma…. dont let me even go to housemaids cos you treat them like shit and have them do all for you. You mean a pastor should not have someone to assist him in some of the things he needs to do? He wanna buy food in a strange land for example, as he is praying and fasting for peoples salvation and deliverance, he should be the one to enter molue to get bread and akara?

    smh.

Dont know the person in question but he has attained it. Yall should better find a way of developing yourself and become big rather than beef someone.

  38. Good day all. Let me correct an impression. A pastor is first a man before he became a man of God.Men of God are prime target in the north as well as churches...no complian abi. If they are harmed its ok because he is a man of God. If he walks alone and is harmed you will ask why would a man of that status move alone. If you describe them as church Rats its ok but if they fly jets etc you complian. Read the bible carefully, Heaven is my throne and earth is my foot stool. Christ had twelve disciples and Peter fought for Him when they came to arrest Him, Elijah had a body guard cum follwer, Elisha had same. We should get it clear being a christian is a road map to earthly riches and heavenly bliss
